    Of course Bobby was right. I have no issue resting players (giving fringe players a chance) in CocaCola Cup games but there is no reason the modern player cannot play two games a week. In saying that, it's very obvious at 34 Gerrard looked knackered Vs West Ham.

    To get the best out of a guy in his mid 30s you have to reduce his game time. This was been tried and tested, Rodgers has a big call to make.

    Gerrard is pretty much done and the best thing he can do is to assist in the transition and gradually watch his playing time decrease, Rodgers needs to have that conversation with him.

    In Ireland, some of the most hardcore, dedicated, fanatical people you could hope to meet exist in the "small towns and country places" of the GAA, or Gaelic Athletic Association. Davy Fitz is one of those people, he just takes it to a whole new level of insane dedication, to his Club Team {Sixmilebridge, or as they would say in Germany "Neun und ein bissen kilometer von die brucke"} and his County {Clare}

    He is basically Ireland answer to Neil Warnock, a man who, no matter what he is doing, if you take a photo of him, it will become instant comedy gold.
