Still looking fwd to it. I know this trip looks like a dog's dinner now but keep in mind I booked it around the possibility of Everton playing on either 16 or 23 April. Airline tickets have been bought and there's nothing to do but make the best of it now.

Tue 14 Apr Depart Los Angeles
Wed 15 Apr Arrive London (Hounslow)
    Thu 16 Apr London (Hounslow)
Fri 17 Apr London to Liverpool
Sat 18 Apr Liverpool (Everton v Burnley)
    Sun 19 Apr Liverpool
    Mon 20 Apr Liverpool
Tue 21 Apr Liverpool to London (Hounslow)
    Wed 22 Apr London (Hounslow)
Thu 23 Apr London to Chichester
Fri 24 Apr Chichester to London (Hounslow)
Sat 25 Apr London to Liverpool
Sun 26 Apr Liverpool (Everton v Manchester United)
Mon 27 Apr Liverpool to London to Los Angeles (this day is really going to suck)

Nope. I always fly non-stop because when I used to fly into Manchester (07, 08, and 09) my flight always got fucked up in Chicago either on the way there or back. I joined Virgin Airlines frequent flyer and have been going on non stop flights with no problems.

Well, the only problem I had was in 2013 when I had a middle seat and the big British guy to my right and Jamaican little girl to my left both decided that I would make a good pillow for 10 hours.

So when are the Hounds of Hounslow having the next drinking session?? I say we meet in Liverpool and I am sure I can get JoeMul out of retirement. Not to mention, QPR is off that first weekend because their match with Villa is postponed.) But Hounslow would be okay again. Jimmy, Billy Hunger? You guys make the call. BTW, anyone else would also be welcome to join our drinkfest.

Yeah i figured you'd have to stop off in either Chicago or Minneapolis. How long of a flight is it to London from Los Angeles?

They say 10.5 hours and 11.5 hours on the way back but it is closer to 10 and 11.

What sucks is I can't sleep on a plane.

Ugh. I don't like layovers but for me that's way too long to sit in one place. I would get very fidgety. I'd actually prefer a stop over a 10 hour long flight.

I worked bar at a music festival once 7 slept so little over the 4 days I was hearing and seeing things & still not a wink on the 9 hour bus ride home. Fucked. Unfortunately not. Just a Friday night on the 24th. I had to book this trip in advance so that I could attend either Europa League match with would have been on the 16th or 23rd. That's why I'm going to two home matches (I prefer away games) and that's why I'm going up and back twice instead of once.

If you're busy with work, we'll catch up next time.

That was a highly entertaining match, I thought. Bodies flying everywhere all the way to the very end. I thought 2-0 down with ten men, L'pool were done but they fought hard.

LMAO at the three fans holding Balotelli back to keep him from getting a red. One of them pushed Smalling and he looked back and pointed at Balotelli.

On American TV we had two British announcers (Souness I believe was one) and it took them forever and a day to figure out Gerrard had been sent off. I saw the red go up right away. They announced it as a yellow then couldn't figure out why Gerrard was leaving and taking off his armband. Gerrard is almost to the exit. "Wait a minute, here! Has Gerrard been sent off? Incredible!"
