    Fact.

    Sterling is not worth 100k but I would happily give him that contract based on potential. There is a long list of English wonder kids who sign for big clubs at 20 and are washed up by 25. LFC should offer him terms in the summer and give him 1 week to consider. Failing that, sell him. This is not Gerard, Torres or Suarez. I won't lose any sleep over Sterling.

    I don't know if it's accurate but according to one list i saw Wayne Rooney was the third highest paid player in the world. Sure he's very good, but ahead of everybody else but Messi and Rooney? :tick::lol:

    Great times right now for any player among the top 200 in the world if you're from England. Guaranteed $$$

    I just think Sterling is getting really bad advice. Yeah he signed a mega contract last year. I like Rooney but he wouldn't make my top ten.

    According to this there are 7 players paid as much or more than Wayne. The crazy thing is, 100k a week actually doesn't look that...crazy. Relatively. John Terry's on 175k.

    Rooney signed a deal that entitles him to a percentage of image rights (don't laugh) and apparently that is not only unusual but worth a lotta lolly.

    Either way, the money in the game is ridiculous and is about to get a lot worse for the EPL. Palace can compete with Inter Milan for players. Inter fecking Milan :dunno:
