This game today between Aston Villa and Queens Park Rangers was supposed to take place on Monday, April 20.

I don't remember many matches getting moved UP in the schedule instead of back.

Chelsea can still bottle the league. They still have to play Arsenal,MUFC,LFC and giant killer Palace.

It would be absolutely wonderful if Chelsea doesn't win the league.

    No shit, Sherlock Holmes.

But they usually make teams play later not sooner.

I have pointed out several times this season that whoever is scheduling these matches is asleep at the wheel. A computer makes the actual schedule of mathces and then the FA or whoever decides the days and match times. They've done a horrible job. Because I make travel plans around the fixtures I pay very close attention to how they are scheduled.

Yes but Liverpools game with Blackburn was put so far back {by one Month}, and with Liverpool being one win away from having to play Villa in the Semi-Final, they had to do something.

Liverpool play tomorrow if I recall.....so they pulled the Villa league game forward.

By 11pm tomorrow UK time, they will have a much clearer idea of where they stand.

It is the potential of Liverpool vs Villa at Wembley that has them scratching their heads. They should have known about that a month ago, but Blackburn and Liverpool played out a scoreless draw.

The Greeks can go and fuck themselves. If they sell out to the Russians now it will be a long-term problem in exchange for a short-term fix.

    Fuck Greece.

What's the difference? Did the (gentile) dutch have it much worse in 1941? 'Right, give up your ports, your tollroads, your most valuable beaches, the parthenon, tell your workers they're working 10 hour days now for half the money, tell them elections are for show because we decide policy & we get all your taxes'

Couldnae agree more. The Ruskies are terrors abroad and they Greeks wid soon regret inviting the 'WAMpire' intae they home. As it happens, tourist reliant Greece is suffering as the Sqaureheids are all holidaying in Turkeyand avoid the Greeks like Perseus avoided the savage gaze o' Medusa.

Imagine hoo they Greeks will feel if they are replaced ba Turks in the EU? SEE-EU!

The Greeks spent money they didn't have. I think it is fair to say that the Dutch are a harder working people than the Greeks.

Some people do just work harder. Holland got the shit bombed out of it in WW2, once on the way in, once on the way out.

I thought it was a good symbolic gesture/protest. The question in its subtext being 'how long & how much does a country have to pay for past mistakes?'. Germany's only in the position its in now because it was forgiven post ww2, including the total forgiveness of much bigger debts than Greece owe

Greece should be a rich country.

They have had major issues with interference, from within and without, the Colonels etc.

    But the money was paid.

The Germans can't be asked to pay twice cos the Greeks dropped the Ice Cream the first time.

Shite. The greeks work the longest hours in Europe by a distance. 'The greeks' spent money they didnt have - who're 'the greeks'? How long and how much should they have to pay? Debts that cant be repaid won't be, its just a matter of how much ordinary greeks who are no more reponsible for the mistakes of their government than anyone else are made to suffer now. Its fucked

But Hitler only came to power because the Germans were themselves squeezed like fuck for a war that they had not started nor been alone in fostering, namely WW1.

If you want, we can play chicken-egg.

The Germans in 1945 did a far better job with the Truman-Marshall money than the Greeks did in the 1960's with the reparation money.
