This is straight out of the "Going down with a fight" handbook, written by Audley Harrison. Disgraceful.

Players seem like they're playing with no confidence, with a hint of dejection also.

Is Brentford's ground big enough for the Prem? I flew over it coming into London and it looked tiny.

They'll have to play at Readings ground if they go up as Griffin Park isn't all-seater. Bournemouth's ground is only 12,000 or something stupid, but is all-seater so they can play at home

Bournemouth sounds like a place where old pensioners would go to retire.

    England's version of South Florida.

Lots of the South Coast is.

If I ever live long enough to retire, and more importantly, have fuck all to retire on, I will go to Cornwall.

If you love London so much, you should stay here and work in the NHS, fighting for the same bit of social housing and the same bit of work that the imported masses have been brought here to fight over. Lovely high rents, lovely low wages. Progress.

Ireland is whiter and fairer than England but I won't go there just yet. I will stay here to fight it out in the sewer for a while longer.

And what's in Cornwall is great scenery and beaches. If I had the money I would live in the Bahamas, and that's all black :dunno:

It was a joke. London's cool but I like Liverpool about ten times more. And not because Liverpool is nice (I've seen much nicer places around England.) It just suits me (except for the people per sq mile but I'd live on the outskirts.) It is about 90% white. 100% left wing but not San Francisco-left wing, it's more like Boston left wing. Working class, pro-union, pro-working man, pro-Labour Party, but like Boston you still have the old school racism and homophobia about.

Agreed. Liverpool is a Labour stronghold but very Conservative in the sense of tradition and traditionalism. Liverpool also has the coastline and the sea-breeze.

London, for all its size, feels very cramped at times. Especially in the heat.

It's not about "better" for me. It's where I fit in more. Liverpool is the perfect city for me. I couldn't live near the city centre though. It never quiets down. I mean NEVER. 4:15 am on a Tuesday morning. People are yelling, screaming, fighting. Cars are honking horns. People are stumbling home. That's every single day, every single week. It has to be the LOUDEST city on earth if anything.

I'd live away from that part.

Yeah. Some guy in Hounslow was going off about how cramped he felt. He said he wanted to look up and see the sky. The whole sky not just parts of it between buildings. And he was tired of plains flying over his head. He wanted to move to some place like Utah or Montana. I told him there's nothing there. He said "Good, that's what I want. Nuffink!"

Bristol, Liverpool and Glasgow all have certain things in common.

They are Cities, on the West Coast, with large estuaries and marine histories which have influenced the culture and outlook of the place.

You don't have that in London.

The Thames Estuary is so far down the river its nowhere near London.

When I came to London, I thought the noise would kill me.

Its a bit better now.....being not too far from Hounslow, I can appreciate the problem with aircraft.

I think too much is made about living under the flight path tbh. After a day or so your ears just block the noise out and it isn't a problem.
