yeah I grew up right next to a busy railway line - trains going by literally every two, three minutes or so. People always used to comment on it when they came round but i literally didn't hear them anymore, completely tuned out.

i dunno - London is still a port city too afterall. And allot of it was heavily industrial too, similar history of Irish immigration. If anything i fancy Bristol would probably be less like Glasgow and Liverpool than the east end of London....20-30 years ago when white Londoners still lived there, anyway.

Londons Docklands are gone, unfortunately. Replaced by cereal bars and poofter joints and Bangladeshi patriarchies.

There's mammoth investment in new docks on the Thames at the moment i think? Maybe further along the thames towards essex tho, i'm not sure.

Ditto Liverpool actually - there's a proper container dock being built there atm and an expansion of the canal between the mersey and manchester for shipping :like:

Yes, there is a container dock, owned by the Arabs, way down the river, much further down than Canary Wharf and what have you.

Its not Docks in the true sense and will employ far more people BUILDING it than working at it post-construction

    itv news

'a theme emerging from the post mortem is the widespread agreement that, moving forward, Labour needs to focus less on its core vote and a little more on middle england, those who want to get along'.

Too much focus on the interests of working class people, thats obviously the problem in UK politics.

Yeah, and you know who is pushing it, Mandy Mandleson and his Obama Bum Boy Chucky Umunna.

Parrotting the dual edged mantra of Multi Kultopian London and appeal to the Bidness Sektor.

And lets not be wasting our time with any of that fringe working class stuff....have you ever seen such a fucking euphemism as "The Aspirational Classes".

What do they aspire to....and what do we not aspire to, more pertinently :dunno:

    "Aspire...what a word, Eh"

What is it, exactly? I tend to surf FightBeat exclusively on my phone these days so have never seen it. Is it just a video clipping tool?

The odds are literally even on degale/dirrel - you can get 1/1 on each. I dont think i've seen odds quite so close before

Yeah, gun to my head I think DeGale will have enough length and skill/speed to be able to get to Dirrel & outwork him. Dirrel's stink aint to be sniffed at tho, could all go wrong, especially if its a big ring or Dirrel uses his legs more than he usually does

Could be the worst fight to watch in history. They'll throw about five punches each in the entire fight.

I went to Sandwich, Kent for one day. Very traditional place. Very beautiful. Actually from the train Kent looked like a very nice County. Dover looked really nice but I didn't get a chance to actually go there.

Lots of fruit picking opportunities there. :crafty:

Just "Kilting"...believe me, out a tin in your hand, and walk around there in an Everton Shirt and Baggy pants and see how long before you get tapped on the shoulder and..."Excuse me Sir, alright, are we...."
