Pretty much rules out his chances of playing for Arsenal, so.

He must have opened them. Otherwise the deal would be done by now. Admit it, he sneaked an Orange Fondant.

I will complain to the BBC and ask them if there was a legitimate purpose why they kept these images from us.

OH MY GOD THEY KNEW AND WERE IN ON IT!

"Alright der our Adam, La"

of course the same needs to be said of Lallana that was said of Shaw. Did Liverpool have problems last year with Width??? Pace?? The team is full of it. What Liverpool need is a settled Defensive back 6 who can interchange and cover for each other. Everton have the best full back in England. Man City have the best Center back. Liverpool need players like that. Lallana is the Neil Webb of his time, as far as I am concerned.

Aye, he's perfect for our system.

I'd have Shaw over Flanagan but not for 30 million or anything like it.

AgREED. its not a £30m disparity by any stretch. The thinking at United is perhaps that Van Persie and Mickey Rourke are going to have good seasons, that they need only shore up the back and it will be all peach fuzz.

Shaw's got the lot...dangerous with ball at feet running at pace (looks up observing his options when he does this), wants to take people on, very fast, can defend, has a great left foot...the list goes on. He could do a Bale in fact and move to the wing in midfield. Jon Flanagan is a different type of left-back. Yes he likes to get forward when the opportunity arises, but he's more about solid defending, sticking to his guns if that makes sense. Both have different styles and qualities.

But that's just it. Did United go to shit last year because they lacked pace at the back?? The first job of a defender is to.......

They just need another full back and 2 CB's.

I suppose Van Ghoul will want to play his brand of total football hence his need to have left backs playing like left wingers.

 But Shaw is a capable defender for sure, but of course he likes to venture forward many a time. He's the type though that if he loses the ball he'll track back and want the ball back immediately. He's only 18 which is scary.
