    Bonny win fer the Sasnachs.

Ah've joined yer league, laddie, although Ah've taken a degree o' offense at the League's name. Unlike last time Ah played in O'TK's 'Premier' League, there is no' right wing uniforms or controversial names (ma team name is 'The SEE YOU, Jimmies' and ma team strip couldae only been selected ba the colour blind... deffo no' gonnae sell many o' those bassas in Sportsdirect).

I suppose it's a gamble but if it pays off they'll reap the benefits.

I don't agree with Irish above. Yes, he's a name, but the man can still play. I don't think he'll have any problems adapting to life in the EPL.

I think the name is hilarious but I can still edit it. I know you're joking about it and all but do you have a name in mind we can call the league? Oh and speaking of TKO, where is he? I'm pretty sure I finished above him last season and I want to repeat that this season. WHERE ARE YOU HIDING, TKO, WHERE ARE YOU HIDING?

The League name's bonny - Ah'm just having a wee laugh.

O'TK usually shows up when there's anything approaching quality written in the forum, which mibbees explains his absence, like

One things fer sure, he boggin' well finished above me and he wiz a week or two late tae the party. Must try and summon the Caledonian poower o' the great Sir Alex Ferguson fer this year's campaign! Will begin ba drinking ma own bodyweight in brandy.

Apparently they still want Schneiderlin. That would be a good move as they can't expect Bastian to carry too much weight on his shoulders at this stage of his career.

 That's a good plan, I think I'll join you and do the same.

This season I'm going to keep weekly scores of how everyone is progressing. We'll know who's had a shocking week or who's had an ootstanding week.

    I'm such a geek, I know

How many midfielders do they want?

Do you guys think Kane can match what he did last season?

Well if every transfer rumor related to United was true the answer would be ALL OF THEM.

I didn't see enough of him to make an evaluation of how good he is, but given how his reputation has grown I'm sure opposing teams will mark him more closely. (he's also yet another rumored United target)

How highly do you rate Depay? He can play in a few positions which stands him in good stead. He's a bag of tricks it looks like. He'll likely be on Soccer AM's 'showboat' a handful of times this season.

I only really became aware of him since the last WC. Since then I've seen some additional highlights. He seems talented and pretty versatile. Because of that versatility I can't help but wonder if Van Gaal is going to keep moving him around to the point where he doesn't get settled.

It's cloudy here and it looks like it'll rain. Westmeath on at 2pm. You watching it, Irish?

Westmeath playing really well, 07-02 so far.

  24. Irish

    07-03

Westmeaths first score from play took 33 minutes.

They are playing stink football but that's how you make Dublin look ordinary, by playing stink and counter.

This is good from Westmeath. They are getting as much out of this as they can hope to, so far.

Too many wides from Dublin. This is 2003 all over again.

  25. Irish

Another high, stupid aimless wide from Dublin. Utter shite.

  26. Irish

    08-04

    Dublin have no ideas.

Westmeath have a basic plan and some talent, Dublin have lots of talent and no plan.

  27. Irish

    Irish Yuge, Beautiful

Dublin better buck up their fucking ideas. I wonder if that first half didn't take more out of Westmeath though. Stink football, Joe Brolly was right, it's footballing Mixamitosis.

Two wides in rapid succession by Dublin. The tension builds.

I thought Westmeath defended well. They found it tough going forward and hit too many short of goal. All about levels I think. If Westmeath's attitude was "fuck this, let's go all out", it would have been disastrous.
