Fabregas finds Schurrle with a nice chip pass. 2-1.

I think Burnely just pissed Chelsea off. Should have waited longer to go for a goal.

    Neymar triples up Barca.

Hopefully we Suarez subbed in at the half instead of something stupid like 5 minutes to go.

I see Rangers beat Clyde 8-1. Is that Clyde "The Glyde" Drexler?

After Barca appealed FIFA said the initial punishment was too harsh and decided to let him train and play in non-competitive matches during the 4 month ban.

Barcelona shouldn't even have Suarez as they were also supposed to be banned from transfers for two years. Guess what? They appealed and won.

Yeah, that's right. Would they have been as lenient if it was a British club...

Maybe a Chelsea or Man United, but a West Brom or Sunderland?

FIFA/UEFA probably wouldn't even read their appeal.

I'm not sure FIFA or UEFA are aware that there is even a club called West Bromwich Albion

    the european leagues, per UEFA:

England: City, Chelsea, Arsenal, United, sometimes that Liverpool club
    Germany: Bayern
    Spain: Real, Barca
    Italy: Milan, Inter, Juventus

    Scotland: what's that?
    Portugal: isn't that in Spain?

Chelsea off to a strong start. Diego Costa really adds a different dimension, I think they are the favourites.

Ah am ashamed tae say, Ah hadtae look up who he wiz (thought he wiz a hockey player fer a tick!).

Well, if it's a basketball score Ye're aftae - check oot this win ba the Rangers lassies:

Rangers Ladies thrashed Falkirk FC 22-0 in the third round of the Scottish Cup as six players hit hat-tricks.
Lisa Swanson and Kirsty Howat each scored four as Rangers eased into the quarter-finals.

Swanson opened the scoring after four minutes, and Rangers held a 14-0 lead at half-time.

Noo, Ah've been on the rough end o' a ten nil skelping and it felt like the other team were scoring every minute, like - God kens whit that lassies match wiz like, like!

He says he would be, but better the devil you know. Newcastle are run terribly....and run terribly well, all at the same time. They are a very stable club right now with their "Model". The problem is, they will never win fuck all under Ashley. Okay, they might fluke something, like they did in 2011/2012 when they went on that "Top 4" run. Ashley out is the only way up, but it is a potential way down, too.

    100% true

but I think Feebs and his fellow Toons would prefer a gamble that gives them the chance at something meaningful over comfortable, unthreatened mid-table obscurity

Joe Ledley's gaffe up for sale, i notice :'( We bumped into each other so many times outside there. It was like we really connected. I do like what he did with the place. Except for that naff, dated print in the bathroom, thats heavy pish. And the glowing pink bathtub, LOL
