Funnily enough, Celtic remind me of Ireland going in to Euro 2012. It may be better for their fans if they don't quality for the group stages. I'm sure Dermot Desmond and their team of accountants don't give a shit about what might follow.

Assuming Rangers win their league this year, there will at least be another team with a ground that seats more than 25,000 people in the SPL next year which will be better than this, but still the decline of the SPL, already significant before any of the Sevco stuff, appears irreversible

The only things that can sustain these clubs besides one another is either membership to the English FA or the advent of some sort of European super league for them to be a part of (easy enough for them to qualify based on the sizes of their stadiums and their ability to fill them)
