Well, Chris is his own worst enemy.

Two writers from well known websites, Mike Campbell and another writer saw Chris getting drunk not that long ago at the fights in Houston, and then eating and drinking the concession stand empty the next day at an amateur tournament.

If he was a dedicated athlete, I'd give him a good shot, but he has not been in the gym one single day.

He will be really beaten up by Vitali, IMO.

Do you guys think Arreola could fit in a C-cup? I always thought he was closer to a D.

True SteveDave...I am blind about my favorites, though I do know who they will lose to...usually lol.
Chris would lose to the Klitschkos, everyone else he has a very good chance against...and he will be a champion...that is all I am saying.

I would also like to add that since he is your friend, you are the only guy here who can rightfully root for the guy. :bears:

There's never been a great fighter who was fat and there never will be. Stop making excuses for these fat fucks.

U Have Guys that AREN'T Necessarily CHISELED like Body Builders (PRIME Larry Holmes Comes to Mind), but U've STILL Got to B in SOME Type of SHAPE to B a Consistently Successful Fighter....Riddick Bowe was IN SHAPE when he Won the Title from Holy...He was FAT when he LOST the Title to Holy...Bowe REMAINED Fat for the Rest of his Career & NEVER Regained the Title...That's NOT a Coincidence...

Buster Douglas STRUGGLED w/Weight his ENTIRE Career, but on the Night he Beat Tyson, he was in TREMENDOUS Shape...NOT a Coincidence...

Gee...thanks for that knowledge. And here I was ready to start a topic where Arnold ranks among all time heavyweights because I was getting confused whether he was a bodybuilder or a boxer.

There IS a difference between not having a bodybuilder's physique and being a fat blob who spends more time eating than training.

If we're talking about coincidences surely the ultimate one is this : three heavyweights have gone down as ATGs in the last 20 years; the only three who consistently showed up in peak condition through the main part of their careers. Today you have two heavyweights who tower over the division and have for the best part of a decade; the only two who are consistently in peak condition.

There's never been a great fighter who was fat and there never will be.

It's just a damn shame that a guy like Arreola can muster all this hype.

Good God he makes Gerry Cooney look like an alltime great.:bangh:

Tell me about it. I've never even seen any of his fights beyond 20 second here and there on youtube, and I never intend to until he trains like a fighter. If he doesn't even give a shit about his own performance why on earth would I?

True that, I mean of you think about it, it really is that simple.

You should add that to your signature Hut, for the next time a blob like Sam Peter or Areola gets hyped up.

Toney was a big fat whale during his time at heavy...but he was a great fighter BEFORE totally blobbing out at heavy. I wouldn't consider him a great fighter at heavy by even one of your stretches of the imagination.

I'm a huge Toney fan but his only first class performance at heavy was at 217lb. He was chubby but not fat. When he became outright fat he became as mediocre & inconsistent as the rest of the lard asses in the division.

Yeah, the example makes no sense because Toney's great for what he did before he got fat...and it was his getting fat and staying fat that rapidly increased his decline.

Toney had one really good performance at heavyweight, when he broke down Holyfield's body, and it shouldn't be surprise when that fight came (in respect to when he moved up permanently) and how much he weighed for it (compared to his later fights at heavy).

Certainly add me to the bandwagon.

I'm not as concerned about his weight, it's the skill piece. The guy has TERRIBLE balance.

At the present pathetic condition of the heavy divsion, even Pacquiao can become Heavyweight champion.

I agree that he should shred the fat off his chin, and arms and chest,... but PRESERVE that pot of gold in the centre, and work on a bit of leg strength to cater for it,.. it's GOOD padding,...good, good padding...

:crafty: Adhere to your place, ankle-biter,... for you see,... the only real way to see the spectacular strengths of a heavyweight, is to put a nimble midget in there with them,... :crafty: ...Wlad might well break the base of Pacquioa's back with a fully extended right hand.

I want to personally think each and every one of you who thinks I'm a nutjob for this take. The second Arreola wins a HW belt, you will hear shit about this forever.

If Arreola has to beat either of the Klitschko brothers or David Haye to win a belt then he has no chance whatsoever. If a set of circumstances arise where he has to beat another out of shape blubberball then unfortunately he could do it.
