The Dark Knight Returns review

The Dark Knight Returns Watched last night the whole thing (it is divided in two parts, each with a duration of 1:30 for a total of 3 hours) and let me tell you this: it is awesome! Best comicbook adaptation ever. This animated film is like watching Frank Miller’s classic graphic novel come to life since it faithfully transfer all the images of the panels into animation. If you have never read ‘The Dark Knight Returns’ and watch this film, you might get the wrong impression it is copying the Nolan Batman films, but in fact is the opposite: Nolan borrowed heavily from Frank Miller. My daughters watched it with me and they were hooked into the plot something they have never been into the Nolan films. Anyway, if you love the original, like superhero films with a great plot or just like movies, do yourself a favor and watch this film. 9/10
