    I was watching the film in a Cinema in civilized Canada, where they don't have some 2nd amendment foolishness which turns nearly every citizen into a potential shooter. As such i felt rather safe. :lol:

    Similar situation for me in Japan. Although the A/C was working just fine, these tight wad mofos were rationing the shit and it's humid as hell in Japan this time of year. I snatched my girlfriends fan from her and started fanning her and myself so hard that my friend and his girl seated next to us thanked me for keeping them kind of cool too. They had given out surveys about the theater before we went in and even though it was in Japanese I wrote in big English words "turn on the freaking air conditioner."

    'hmmm on second thought better quickly add a 5 seconds scene of Bruce Wayne being alive so that the viewers don't cry..oh and throw in a girlfriend too so he lives happily ever after to please the kids' - nolan

    the ending was just a notch above Bruce Wayne waking up in bed next to a stripper saying "oh, it was all a dream, fancy that"


    i have a big problem with that fucking ending
    the whole movie is dark and depressing with Bruce Wayne on a 'i dont give a fuck' destructive spiral...goes bankrupt and everything fucks up for him non stop...then they add 5 seconds at the end that he lives happily ever after :laugh11: wtf Nolan is gay!! :shit:

    plus Wayne was in fucking Florence!! a expensive and very touristy place...its not like he moved to some small village somewhere in Europe where no one would see or recognise him

    Nolan sacrificed basic logic in order to have some sappy "he lived happily ever after" ending

    the ending should have been as dark and depressing as the rest of the movie...that would have made it a much more awesome movie imo...Morgan Freeman should have died too

    Batman's death would still be too far fetched and stupid. He got killed by a nuclear bomb. It's lacks drama and credibility. Nolan fucked it up this time.

    I finally got around to this movie. I thought Nolan did a great job considering the hype. The way in which he handles robin and cat woman was excellent huge improvement on previous version.

    I also enjoyed how he tied up a lot of loose ends it really felt like a trilogy. Nolan has this gift of making you forget it's a fantasy / super hero movie, it's very modern and realistic - easy to enjoy as a adult

    Big Tom Hardy fan since Bronson - he was excellent as Bane.

    I didn't see that twist at the end coming, however when the kid is trying to escape and one guy if fighting off the rest, Tom Hardy popped into my head you can recognize that monster under a cloak

    lots of little good things in this movie, sure, but overall it's just a big failure. overplotted, simple as that. every scene, nearly every line, has yet another plot turn, which means that none of it actually has time to take on any weight or resonance (the dent act, wayne's a recluse, sustainable energy source, invested in by some indian woman, russian says it could be weaponised, bane's kidnapped him, this young cop's worked out that wayne is batman, oldman meets bane, escapes, bane's got his letter though, something about some guy called daggett, but bane just killed him, ...). basically a big silly soap opera series crammed into 3 hrs.

    nolan's all about fanboy plotting, but low on heart, low on engagement. the big marvel movies are superior to this batman trilogy.

    i agree that the whole daggett character was unnecessary...but other than that the plot was fine
