I expect better from you Neil.

What black American fighter could he have fought in the divisions he's been in, that were in the same league as Morales, Barrera, Marquez etc?

Pacquiao should've knocked out Tim Austin, then his legacy would've been sealed.

Joan Guzman. Zahir Raheem. Monty Meza Clay. Gary Stark. Mike Oliver.

Only Guzman is elite and he never was mentioned as a Pacq opponent. None of them were.

When would he have been able to fight these guys? Guzman is the only one I can imagine would have been possible. What would beating guys who aren't elite do for Manny anyway? Just to prove he can beat a black fighter? That is fucking ridiculous.

Manny has beaten way better fighters than all of those guys. Marquez is as slick as any of them.

Ease up, Z man. It's not like I am criticizing pacq.

I don't think anyone is way better than Guzman, though.

its not about guys who are in the same league as the aforementioned trio. I never suggested there were african american fighters who would certainly defeat pacquaio. it just seems like a statistical anomaly that pacquaio has been fighting here for 8 years and managed to face off against a grand total of zero. its no surprise that the slicker, rangier and more athletic mexicans pacquaio has fought gave him the most trouble.

Statistically it might be odd I agree, but you have admit, it's hardly Pacman's fault, there was nobody around that he should have fought, quite simply.

Guzman is nothing special at all. Marquez is way, way better.

Both Pacman and Marquez would have wasted Guzman.

Guzman is also a fat loser who would never have made weight at 130 anyway. He's worse than Castillo when it comes to that.

basically pacquaio's promoters have steered him clear of guys who present different and difficult styles. he's made a lot of money and gotten to where he is now so it appears to have been the right choice. guys like mayweather, marquez, corrales, hopkins, etc were exposed to a variety of styles throughout their careers

guzman isn't african american either, but he wouldve given pacquaio or marquez problems when he was in shape and able to make 122-130

So instead of fighting the best guys, Pac's management should have been seeking out Slick black fighter this whole time? I mean who cares that there weren't any at the top of the divisions he's been in, they should have just made him face them anyway.

What you are saying right now is completely ridiculous.

If there was a slick black champion at any of the weights he's fought for the past 5 or so years, he damn sure would have fought them.

Where are these guys? Please, instead of repeating the same stuff over and over provide a list of these slick black fighters, and when it would have been possible for Pac to face them.

 damn you're right it wouldve been impossible. pacquaio fought nothing but murderers since june, '01.

overall pacquaio has faced excellent opposition since, but hardly everytime out. there were tune ups and money fights mixed in with about 7 legitimate risky matches.

Pac's camp should seek out a slick black fighter to make the racists happy.

I hope Mayweather get's flattened by JMM and ruins the whole deal. I know it won't happen, but it would serve Mayweather right. One of these days his bullshit needs to backfire on him.

Mayweather will not make the same mistake as SRL did with Duran and brawl with Pac. He will go straight to the no mas fight.

Aside from a SELECT FEW, Brothers that Box HAVEN'T Been SMALL Enough to Fight Manny Pac...Tim Austin & Nate Campbell R about THE ONLY Viable Options Manny Had, to Face a Brother, but it's NOT Like Nate is the Least Bit "Slick"...Sure, "Too Sharp" Johnson was There too, but he was Creeping Up on Being GERIATRIC....

If All Go's Right, Manny's Gonna Face THE BEST POSSIBLE "Slick, Black Fighter" Out There Today (Floyd)...AND He'll B the SMALLER Man....In SOME Cases, U Can Refer to this Particular "Elephant" in the Room, but in the Case of Manny Pac, who has he DUCKED???...

I guess there's also Zahir Raheem, who beat Morales during the Pacquiao/Morales trilogy.

Didn't Raheem Beat Morales PRIOR to the 2nd Pac-Morales Bout???....If So, REED CAN'T Blame Manny @ All for NOT Facing Raheem...On Top of that, Raheem FAILED MISRERABLY @ Keeping Himself RELEVANT....
