Crap, sorry to hear that, dude. I hope it gets better. You know what develops the back of the shoulder besides rear delt raises? Chinups, especially the wide-grip ones!!!
I'm doing reverse flies on an incline, I can really feel it back there, never did that exercise before.
Yep, pretty much any new exercise, done correctly, will make you feel it in a new way. Good to hear you're getting more complete shoulder development.
You think? :: I've always been one to make jokes, but I know a fair bit about training as well. Still, this is the first real smack on the face that told me, "You're an adult now!" Marriage didn't do it because Natasha and I are so happy together, gray hairs didn't do it because I don't have a lot of them, but having a baby, a tiny child that will depend on me for everything...let's just say that really drove home the realization that I'm an adult, so I better be a really good one since I always wanted to give my kids a really good life. :dunno:
Yeah, although I still have my irreverernt sense of humour, I'm getting to be not quite my old cruel self. :: I guess kids have that effect on me. I'm great with kids, having been a teacher for so long at a private school where you really have to connect with the spoiled ones to get them to do their work. :dunno:
Well, I have made the transition to not wearing a weightbelt for any of my lifts. It's gonna take about 4-6 weeks to get my poundages back to what they were with the belt, but it will be worth it in the end. My core is tighter, my abs are sharpening up, and as soon as I can run again, I will (Christ, I really nailed my foot off the basement stairs).
I know how precious your rap thread was so I brought it here I most certainly did not say the exercises I did were the best way to go, I said they were best for me :nono: In fact, you guys wanted me to do benching and other exercises instead, I explained I do not do them and then you went on about making fun of baby weights.... so you are a complete hypocrite on your soap box. :bears:
I capped on you because you started up arguing with me. REMEMBER? :: You can turn it whatever way you want, but I was being cool with you, and you were, in turn, trying to get an argument going. I tell you what: argue all you want because it's all good, but I wouldn't have teased you if you didn't show that you wanted to start up in the first place. :dunno:
There's a common thread though, Ty. You started pecking and being a bitch in this forum, so LOK and I teased you. In TAAA, I'm talking about rap, and then once again you look to get in a pissing contest and you start whining again. That's ok. I'm not really interested in that, but whatever floats your boat! :: Thing is though, if you start this up, we're probably not gonna talk too much about serious topics because it'll always revert to teasing and oneupmanship. If you want it that way, cool. If not, cool too! :dunno:  ::
Yeah, and I was getting you guys pumped up and motivated, and using you to make myself do the same.....then you fizzled :: You guys wanted me to do YOUR exercises but I wasn't having it because I was doing what was right for me
I said ONE thing to jab at Reed and you cried......then Reed and TFK went on and on for a couple pages afterwards and not a PEEP about your precious thread
@ "getting you guys pumped up and movitated" ::  I can honestly say that TD, I like you and all but you are in NO way PUmping me up or motivating me:laughing:
what was our bet? all I know is I train 7 days a week and have for a long time now.. my motivation is much more than talking here::
The bet/challenge I made to you guys. I guess you were talk. Do you really have other motivation than me LOK?
I don't remember betting anything.. you just were saying let's see who keeps it up:: for me as I have said here many times, it's a lifestyle, I just like to exercise and will always do it so it's kinda weird to say "lets see who keeps it up" ::
Yep, that's gotta be the weakest shit that he's come up with yet. "I'm trying to motivate you by arguing with you for no reason!" :: ::
Yeah, it's real weird to see if you will keep working out and don't quit for awhile. I guess having a training log isn't weird......but only if I do it.
For awhile there, you didn't post in here for some time. LOK and I still did, so I kept up on the threads him and I posted in. And if you didn't have the wherewithal to post, you obviously weren't interested. :dunno: LOK and I kept posting about our training, but we didn't detail everything. I told him I am dialing my poundages back up, but now I am doing my exercises without a weightbelt in order to strengthen my core (abs, intercostals, obliques, serratus and lower back). Heck, we talked by phone about it. My exercises haven't changed at all, but I smashed my foot badly last week so I couldn't jog. Now I'm back to jogging everyday, and I still do my weights, chinups, one-arm chins, and handstand pushups. Other than my foot being jacked up, my other training stayed on track.
well, I will say I have not kept as good a LOG as I should.. I just never feel like writing everything down. But I will say on a positive side... I am seriously getting close to being in the best shape of my life. I have run every single day and I am feeling GREAT! doing pushups daily, MAD crunches/situps daily, chinups Daily and running Daily. .
My thread had every single thing I ate, every single rep, whenever I increased pounds, and every extra round I did every single day of the week for 4 months, LOK would remember. There is really no comparison, this is an abortion of a thread and you have been whining how you are going to change your routine almost the very next day I challenged you ::
