Well, 18.5 HSPU for my second non-warmup set.

I think that because my bodyweight is going down, I might be slowing down my progress, but that's ok. I can always speed it up once I hit a weight that I want to stay at, and I have to be getting sharp for the spring. :dunno:

Well, I got 18 for my third set, so that's a warmup of 6 and then 19, 18.5, 18, and now I'm gonna get my jog done.:dunno:

I'll give it another shot or two, but earlier I tried and I got a cramp so bad that I couldn't straighten my arm.

Only got 10. It might be the huge steak I ate earlier.

So that's 70 in total for today, but next time I'll focus better and get the triple digit total!

Getting there today too. I was gonna up my reps, but instead I'm focusing on getting speed and power with the same number. So far I got 5, 11, and 10 (I decided to keep it at 10 for a bit).

Got my third working set of 13 or so. I should have kept it to 10, but I felt like doing a few more. For my last few sets I'll do 9 or 10 each.

Did a set of 10 about an hour ago. Let's tally up thus far!

    5, 11, 10, 13, 10---49 thus far. I guess I'll fire off 11 and make it an even 60.

Well, back to the HSPU thread. Warmup of 5, 2 sets of 11, no problem...and three sets of 12 on the way. Gotta keep these up, no matter what!

The nice thing about being at my job is routine, routine, routine. I can do my chins, pushups, and leg raises without fail throughout the day. I did 63 chins yesterday without really trying much. I just popped over to a quiet area, and then I do a quick set or two.

Plus, if I get here a bit early, I can take an extended lunch and get stuff done then as well.

The lack of sleep really starts to get to me after awhile. I need to focus in order to get the sets, but all I want to do is sleep at my desk.

Thus far today, I've done 12, 14, 15, 15, and I'll probably do three or four more sets at home. I'm gonna go for 100 total today.

These are getting to be an easy enough routine. Still, right around 20 or so, I crap out stamina-wise. I have to work these harder than chins, I guess. :dunno:

I've done 5, 15, 16, and I'm also going for 100 today, Lokster. I'll do 2 more sets of 15-20 when I'm at the gym today, and then a few more sets in the afternoon and a few in the evening. I will definitely get 100 HSPU today even if I have to do sets of 1-5 reps at the end!

That's two more sets of 15. One at work and one at the gym. I could have gotten in two more sets, and in fact I might go get one now.

Thus far, it's 5, 15, 16, 15, 15, 18...so that is 84 total. If I get one more set of 16, I'll have 100 before I go home. Heck, eventually I may have to go for 150 or 200.

Nothing compared to you two freaks, but got up to 3 sets of 5 chins with 75lb weight and 3 sets of 5 extended range incline push ups with 92lb yesterday. Coming along nicely, way stronger than a month ago. Aim to be well over 100lb on both by the end of the summer as well as up to 350 on Dead Lift.:blobbox:

Hutster, do you wear a weightbelt when you do your deadlifts? I recently stopped wearing one, which necessitated me decreasing the weight until I work back up to my usual levels safely. 350 is really good. How much do you weigh?

Personally, right now, I'm sure I could do around 350 without a weightbelt. That's partly because I know my grip strength is strong enough to hold my weight, 205, hanging by one arm from the chinup bar for a little while.

Still, I'd be risking injury to do that. I'll work back up safely over the next few months.

And that was 16, which means that at 1:18pm, I have already done 100 handstand pushups for the day. If I kept going for more sets, I could really set a great record, but I'm gonna take it easy and just do chins tomorrow and alternate days!

I get the feeling that the heavy shoulder presses were holding me back from doing really good numbers in the HSPUs. Now that I have put them on the backburner, my numbers will likely go up again. When I can do 100 HPSUs and 100 chins on an alternating daily basis, I will start adding more reps or different stuff.
