I would root for Floyd for the good of the sport. Floyd Mayweather represents what the sport physically used to be, he represents skills, old-school technique and know-how

Amir Khan represents the perverse shuck-and-jive slap-happy "affleticz" that now dominates the clueless younger generation with their puddle-sized talent pool

The thing that really bothers me is that Khan is spending more time worrying about a decision that, while slightly controversial, wasn't terrible rather than worrying about the holes in his game that allowed such a close fight.

But honestly "The integrity of boxing"????

Boxing survived Whitaker-Ramirez I, Whitaker-Chavez, Lewis-Holyfield and many other absolutely horrid decisions. Khan-Peterson isn't even in the same universe.

    What a tool.

Fuckin' Khan. I hope he gets legitimately robbed in his next fight.

Maybe Kellerman will have a massive coronary in the process and we can get rid of him to.

He has no point, he's a moron.

The fight was no robbery, even many Khan fans gave it to Peterson.

For the record I wouldn't have complained if Khan DID get the decision, it was a very close fight, and one that could really go either way.

Khan is a whiny bitch. And the ref did a very good job.

Khan doesn't worry about the holes in his defence. Khan doesn't worry about boxing. Khan doesn't give a fuck about whether you like the chocolate bar you bought in his shop, he just cares about whether he got paid for it. The outrage and the claims and appeals aren't about Khans reputation as a boxer, they are about his ability to make money. Thats it. The "holes in his game" will be taken care of by referees that don't like to see the holes in his game exposed.

Agreed. Too much knowledge, too much pedigree, too much of the short-stuff, the well-timed stuff. And the fun thing of it is that Khan is smack bang in his Alex Ariza inspired prime. Ricky was out of his comfort zone and past his best, and Floyd himself is not at 2007 levels anymore either, and he'd still wipe him out.
