    Speaking of the Fight Scenes, the Kid that Played the MAIN "Bad Guy" in the Remake is a COMPLETE BADASS...His MEAN MUG was On Point & his Actual Moves were even BETTER...The Kid from the Tournament, w/the Mohawk, was a Baaaaaaaaad Motherfucker Too....

    Both of those Young Cats were Superior to ANY of the Dudes in the Original Karate Kid...

    the story of an average wuss triumphing is what the first movie was....it doesn't really work if the kid can already kick an apple off the top of someones head to begin with :scratcher:

    box office numbers and good reviews disagree with you.

    Movie cost 40 mil to make and made 360 mil.

    Why Not???...Same Premise, Only HEIGHTENED...

    They BOTH Eventually Conquered an Area where Martial Arts was KING...Daniel San had NO Redeeming Athletic or Fighting Qualities, yet he Beat a Crew of SUBURBAN Karate Wannabes...Shao Dre HAD Workable Gymnastic & Athletic Tools & He Beat a Collection of LEGIT Martial Artists...

    In BOTH Cases, the UNDERDOG Triumphed...

    they should have given Jaden a ninja background...and also make him an olympic high jumping gold medalist

    then the finishing move could have been even cooler...he could then have done 3 flips and kicked the opponent 4 times before landing

    I considered purchasing it but it always seems to be packaged with the first film, the one with Hillary Swank and this other, completely unrelated film. It says the unrelated film is KK3 but the Swank version is already there.
