agREED. I met her in Memphis a couple of years ago, at the Tarver-Johnson II weighin. She literally dropped everything just to pose with my daughters, and spent the next 1/2 hour chatting it up with my wife and me.

It's not that shocking. If Hearns wasn't allowed to jab or throw power punches, and Duran had free reign to get up close and hammer away at Tommy's body without any resistence? Add some fouls here and there ... After 6 rounds of that, the rematch would indeed be different.
:: I think the point that CYC was likely trying to make was that if Duran was able to get through the first 4-5 rounds, it may have increasingly become Duran's fight as Hearns tired and got sloppy. It's a probable theory if that were to ever have happened....but Duran being down a bunch of times and then laid flat out make it - errr -difficult to visualize. ::
Yeah the only way Duran would have won a rematch is if Hearns was disqualified for beating him up too much...
