No, that's not how combat sports work. That's how front runners and bandwagon jumpers work, as well as people who hate the sport or are so starved for attention that they try to discredit every chance they get.

It's impossible to "expose" a proven fighter in the twilight of their career.

No shit. If Fedor somehow loses to Werdum it won't mean Fedor got exposed. It would mean he's almost 34 and fighting in MMA.

Bullsh*t! :kidcool: This forum is filled with wagon jumpers! I already make my feelings known long before. Everybody knows I hate Brett Rogers, Machida, and Mousasi.

I know it is. But a lot of people don't. And that will include Dana White and most UFC marks.

Bingo. Not to break forum rules, but he's an old fat guy, who admittedly has close to no social life. This is basically his kicks in his life.

But he would have an off night 100 out of 100 nights fighting Melendez.

He didn't have an off night, he just has some of the worst striking and takedown defense in the sport. Face the facts brotha, he's got some serious holes in his game. Obviously Aoki is a great grappler, but that is only one part of MMA. He's not a well rounded fighter at all. He's got some work to do.

He's good but not as good as he's made out. His performance at the last StrikeForce was amateur at best. He was like a boxer who knew nothing about defending basic wrestling takedowns.

There is absolutely nothing basic about King Mo's wrestling. I would wager there isn't a 205'er in MMA that can stop his takedowns.

With that said, Mousasi was down right horrible off his back.

Exactly. He was like he'd never been on his back in his life and had no idea wtf to do.
Furthermore, yeah Mo's wrestling is good but dude, the f*cker was GASSED THE F*CK OUT and STILL was taking this dumbass clown to the canvas at will the way a drunk husband pins down his subservient bitch!

Hanzy, I am a Mousasi fan. But I can't disagree with anything you said here. I was extremely disappointed in Mousasi. I was yelling at the tv from round 2 on. I had Mousasi as a borderline top 10 p4p guy. But after that performance, he has alot to prove before he gets up there.

Just curious, Hanzy, did you see Mousasi in the grand prix tourney? He was fucking crazy good. beating Jacare and Manhoef as well as many others. he fought great off his back there. I really don't know what he was trying to accomplish.

Mousasi had an off night. One loss to King Mo doesn't mean he's a hype job by any means. He'll have a long succesful MMA career.
