Max Kellerman is more of a massive fucking tool than ever. He simply cannot stop gushing over Deontay Wilder “a good little man vs a great big man” .. “Deontay may be better p4p than Fury..”.. then calling for a 4th fight since ‘Deontay did a lot better than he did in the other loss..’. As if there was never a 1st fight that he lost. Can this homo just stfu and try to educate the boxing public on something other than Deontay’s nutsack??? Yes it was a great fight but goddamn there are other fights out there for both of these guys…

 

Fuck Wilder. Breland prevented him from taking this prolonged ass kicking the first time. I hope he comes out of this needing James Toney to translate for him.

He had people in his corner who truly cared about his well being and he slandered them. He deserved the ass kicking he got. It wasn't brave it was karma.

That was a fantastic fight. Have to give some credit to Wilder, he did improve and the main difference was that he kept his punches compact and he punched WITH Fury. Fury also did the right thing by diving to the floor after he got tagged, you've lost the round, it's a -1 point difference because you floored the guy in the previous round, write it off and regroup.

 

"I went over to shake [Wilder's] hand and he told me 'I don't respect you.' He acted like a sore loser. He's not the first one, he won't be the last one."

 

This wasn't the greatest HW fight anyone saying it was isca narrative spinner or hasn't seen any or much boxing.

The fight can be broken down thus:-

Wilder tried something new for precisely one round, TOPS.

Wilder reverted to form and got nailed and was immediately lookingikeva piss head sailor on shore leave.

Fury, entirely of his OWN volition, proceded to make it a close fight by walking head first into big right hands that he could have- and did- avoid as a matter of course.

That opened one very very real but fleeting window of opportunity that closed once the round ended.

Fury won the 5th and proceded to impress and to disappoint in equal measure by beating Wilder to a quivering pulp while simultaneously failing to find the Punches to put his man away and offering Wilder a way back into the fight which Wilder was simply too discombobulated to take.

Eventually, having been damn near stopped by the doctor, Wilder was beaten down.

Wilder showed incredible heart and guts absorbing a beating for 5 straight rounds which was misinterpreted as a "great fight" because of the misstated impression that Wilder was on the verge, "any moment" of getting back into it.

Kellerman never saw a black dick he couldn't suck nor a white toe he wouldn't step on.

He always does it that way.

He was ALWAYS at it when Hatton or Calzaghe were stateside.

Even if Bomb Squad got khtfko in his next consecutive 10 fights he would not be punch drunk. The guys who are punch drunk are the guys who started boxing as kids, like Ali, Hearns, Norris, Benitez, etc.

It wasn't the "greatest" HW fight, I haven't heard anyone on here say that, but it was a bloody good one. As I said in a previous post, the main difference was Wilder kept his punches compact and he threw with Fury up close. I agree with you that the body jabs in the first round were a good tactic but he abandoned that literally the very next round. He's a shit boxer, a good athlete but a really shit boxer. He will always be that but he hits like a mack truck and to give some credit to Scott he had him fighting to his strengths.

I'm making the mistake of reading what's written elsewhere (BBC and Guardian) and transcribing their emotions and BS out here. "All time classic" they're calling it.

Wilder soon realized that reaching with a jab might be harder work than it looked, and it was.

 

Hard to say. Wilders shitness is in part derived from his failing to stick with a routine rather than a total inability to perform said routine.

 

Wilder is not a good boxer, but he looked especially against Fury cause he doesnt have the reach advantage. Guy defense is mostly pulling back his head

Wilder looked like a beaten man at the end of that third round. Deflated, hurt, wore out.

7,8 rounds of that shit changes your brain.

 

He seems much easier to hit at centre ring than on the ropes. Coukd be Fury suckiness though, as Fury seems only able to land body shots against the ropes. He can land to the head but its a god awful clumsy or reaching punch.

The shots He eats have greater effect, maybe, cos he's slighter and lighter. But Fury, by that same token, is no true puncher.

Wilder and Fury's lives were literally 1 second from taking wildly different routes.

1 second and Wilder has a last gasp ko of an unbeaten guy who never lost his titles in the ring and he likely never crosses paths with Fury again.

He probably goes on to beat AJ, Ruiz.

Instead, Fury rolls off his back, gets up at 9 and Wilders life is never the same.

Its harsh but there you have it.

Wilder can't deal with it, for whatever reasons.
