Saw this yesterday based on your review. Here's mine:

THE BRIDGE - 6.5/10 - Documentary about suicides that occured in 04 from the Golden Gate Bridge. They also show 3 or 4 people actually go through with their suicides and they also discuss how often people use the bridge for suicides. It was a good idea and documentary. About the only negative I can find is that other than the guy who survived his jump nobody else stories or interviews were really that captivating or interesting. They were all good enough to hold your attention but nothing to write home about.
Advice - You wouldn't be missing much if you passed on this. However, if you do watch it you might want to check out the making of segment.

THE NUMBER 23 - 5/10 - Carey goes nuts over a book and a number. The story goes up and down and back and forth but it turns out he wrote the book, lost his mind, forgot about it, became sane, started a new life and found his book at a book store. Sure I just gave away the movie, but I did you a favor. Trust me, you do not want to sit through this one. Although it wasn't a terrible movie, I do regret watching it about the same as The Reaping.

Spiderman 3 ( 5/10 ) - Starts badly with the "comeback" of the green goblin, a.k.a. the lamest supervilain ever and gets pathetic when Spider ( bad bad actor choice ) gets overdramtic over a guy who just tried to kill him. Then gets gradually better and better ( thought the familly plot of sandman is weak as hell, and the plot by the green goblin to get Mary Jane quit Parker is ridiculous and doesn't make sense at all ) to the point where I had forgotten about the horrible start and was starting to enjoy the movie big time. But all is wasted with the horrendous ending that starts off with the ridiculous, overused plot of sadman and venom kidnapping Mary Jane to get to Spiderman, the once again ludicrous emotionnal aspect over the "disfigurment" of the Green Goblin. the cheap use of the american flag to get some kind of sympathy:doh:  , the bad fight and to top it all, the previsible, lame sacrifice of the G.G. Way to botch a job big time.

Great breakdown. You hit almost every aspect that made this movie shit. In fact a lot of this stuff I'd forgotten until you brought it up. Great job and I agree.

However, I'd give it a 6 to a 6.5 myself, because the action sequences and CGI did enough of a job to make all the bad shit you just mentioned bearable.

The draft is brought back and 3 best friends are drafted with all have different backgrounds and current careers. With 30 days to enlist, it goes through each persons emotions and what they will do. Interesting movie, worth checking out.

I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK & LARRY - 5/10 - Boy was this a let down. I thought Adam Sandler, no way this can be bad. WRONG! It almost seemed like he was cashing out because this just wasn't funny nor was it good. I just didn't like it and wouldn't recommend it.

Were you being sarcastic? I honestly haven't enjoyed an Adam Sandler movie since I was 13. But yeah Chuck and Larry was pretty gay :slap:

Just saw the Kingdom today. The best movie I've seen all year. Sure the part near the end where they go around and shoot the shit outa everybody was over the top, but it was an awesome movie nonetheless.

I am Legend was 8.0/10 for me.

It is a little Cast Away-ish because it's only Will Smith and the dog for a while, but it picks up nicely and I enjoyed the ending. I will watch it again, I just won't watch it in the theater.

I usually rate movies by if I am going to get the DVD when it comes out and I will get this one.

I liked this to, even with the plot inconsistencies I've seen mentioned about it.

People bag on Will Smith a lot but I thought he did a great job in this movie. Probably his best performance to date.

That movie sucked, the first few minutes was a car commercial, then you had the apple computer product placement.

First he thought he did, then he thought he couldn't, then he did.

The best part of the movie was the credits because I and I says so.

You forgot to mention all the billboards for Broadway shows and if you pay attention, when he was inside the video store, there were copies of "Pursuit of Happyness" on the shelf.

We Were Soldiers: 7/10 The story of the first major battle( Battle of Ia Drang) between american and vietnamese troops... 400 American soldiers sorrounded by 2,000+ vietnamese soldiers....and as always good ol' US military intelligence didn't know..and didn't care how many enemy soldiers were in the area.....and when it looked like they fucked up..they tried leaving the soldiers behind without any leadership...by removing their general(gibson) out of battle....but he stayed and fought on with his men....

No I wasn't. The only AS movies I didn't like was this one and Anger Management which was okay compared to this one. You didn't like Waterboy, 50 First Dates, Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer etc?

If that's the case the same thing can be said about the overall score right? But to answer your question, if I rewatch it and like it more, it's rewatchability score goes up as does it's overall score.

However, if I give something a low rewatchability score it's not very likely I'm going to rewatch it is it? Therefore it's not very likely its rewatchability score will go up is it?

DAY ZERO - 6/10 - Not a bad movie. Told the story of 3 friends who get drafted in today's war. Although it was directed well it felt kind of ameteurish at times. The story didn't seem like it flowed in a day to day kind of way. It also wasn't a very impressive story, if you miss it you won't be missing much.
Rewatchability - 2/5 - Although I could watch it again I wouldn't want to. It's an okay movie, but it's just ho hum.

30 DAYS OF NIGHT - 7/10 - There was a nice build up to the drama, and it didn't take too long either as you knew what was going to happen. The vampires were cool, they had a different look, sound, and spoke their own language. Extra point for the top view scene of the town as chaos ensued, it was pretty cool. Thing that didn't make sense was the vampires ate an entire town in a few hrs. Not a few days. I don't see how anything could survive with that big of an appetite.
    Rewatchability - 4/5

I AM LEGEND - 7/10 - Was okay. The CGI was shit though. The male lion looked horrible and the creatures looked ridiculous. They could have made this movie scarier by taking a "28 Days Later" approach with makeup and costumes. It was rabies for crying out loud and yet the people wind up looking like a bunch of lurch's. I didn't like the sudden appearance of the girl. Even though they explained it pretty good it just seemed too far fetched.
Rewatchability - 3/5 - I'm pretty sure this isn't the type of movie that gets better the more you watch it because there isn't enough good dialogue to latch onto.

THE BUCKET LIST - 9/10 - About as good as you'd have thought. You can't really go wrong with Nicholson and Freeman. Still, there was something about the movie that felt so expectant. Nothing happened that didn't surprise me and you could almost guess the whole movie from the preview. It's a typical heart tugger, though it failed to make me feel sad or make my heart cry. Still a good movie. One thing that kept you intersted was Nicholson's dry wit and Freeman's genius like ability of knowing everything about everything. Seriously this guy would have kicked ass on Jepeordy.
    Rewatchability - 5/5
