It came across as childish.....nobody in it actually appeared to have acting lessons. It was like those home made flicks. It was sincerely awful.

They should have had Jason Statham in the lead role.

He was born to play the Hitman.

Actually Vin Diesel was supposed to since he directed it. But I guess he read the script and made a wise decision not to.

ALIENS VS PREDATOR REQUIEM - 6/10 - Wasn't as bad as everyone is making it out to be. Isn't nearly as good as everyone was expecting. The action sequences and everything was okay and even the special effects. Two of the big problems was the fact that their was only 1 predator and that there was no queen, yet you had hundreds of aliens showing up causing the infestation of the town. They do explain how this happens but it's so stupid and I don't want to give a spoiler so I'll just let you see for yourself.
Rewatchability - 3/5 - Was it better than the first one? Yes it was IMO.
Hollywood Racist Moment - 1 main character and 3 charaterless kids fall in a pool with an alien. 3 of these characters are white 1 is black. One of these kids gets caught by the alien and the other 3 make it out. Which one died?

SPOILER ALERT - It was the black one.

Jonah Hill Feldstein- the fat kid in SB. He's Y2K's answer to George Memmoli, of Mean Streets fame.

    The Departed

    6.7 out of 10

Rewatchability, maybe one more time in a few years, but never again after that!!

Again accoring to the great IMDB,this is by far the best Scorsese movie of all time:rolleyes:

Okay plot,Decaprio is just too pissed off!! It has a very annoying accented slut psych doctor that fucks both Damon and Leo!! Not even close to being Scorsese' best work. But almost has no rewatchability factor at all, unlike most of his other movies!!

I liked it...and it was years ahead of the last movie in which Scorcese tried to work the Irish into it...namely GONY.

PS...why can't Scorcese tell a story about the Irish without working some aspect of injustice to African-Americans into the storyline?

In GONY, there were "ni*******ers in the Church, father" and there were instances of Blacks being beaten during the bombardment of NY during the Civil War. In "The Departed" the film opens with some clips of riots and Costello putting "the black chappies" down.

    :dunno:

Oh, I thought the other kid was jewish. He looks the part too does he not?

Good post, I agree too. I thought that movie was very overrated and I couldn't really stand to sit through it again. How can a person viewing that really care much for Dicaprio's character. He was just too unemotional and angry.

THE ASSASINATION OF JESSE JAMES - 5.5/10 - Talk about slow moving drama. Drama's are my favorite genre but this one was just not really that interesting. The dialogue wasn't that impressive, the acting was pretty good but nothing overly dramatic which isn't surprising since there wasn't much to be dramatic about. Bottom line, this was no 3:10 TO YUMA. I was pretty disappointed.
    Rewatchability - 2/5
Racist Hollywood Moment - The whole movie. There wasn't 1 n**ger in the whole movie.

I would have thought that eliminated the possiblity of racism?

You know, James and Youngers had other things to do than shoot hoops with Black folk. They had trains and banks to rob, deadlines to meet. :nono:

    The Jumper -- 3.5/10

If you see the trailer in which Samuel Jackson is after Hayden Christensen (Both Star War alum), that's it, that's the story. The whole movie is like a setup for the sequel, ended rather abruptly. So skip this one and wait for the sequel, you wont miss anything, the trailer is good enough to give you an idea what's going on here.

THE HEARTBREAK KID - 4.5/10 - Another of many cashouts although I'm not sure if it's The Farelley bros doing it or Ben Stiller. If I had to guess I'd say the former, because the bros probably just ran out of ideas which is evidenced by this humorless movie. It wasn't terrible, but it didn't deliver the humor you'd expect from a Farelley's. This movie really reminded me of I now pronounce you Chuck & Larry in that it didn't deliver the goods I would normally expect from it's star. However I can't blame Stieller for this, he just couldn't polish this turd. You could say he shouldn't have taken the part but he probably owes Farelley's his career so I won't blame him for that either. Bottom line, feel free to skip this one, you won't miss much. By the way I didn't like the ending either, it was a joke they should have kept.
Rewatchability - 3/5 - But not for the humor, just for the story.

-No Country 9/10 ---- Enough Said
-In the Valley of Elah - 7/10 - Tommy Lee Jones was AMAZING....the scene of the phone with his wife was remarkable
-Sweeney Todd - 7.5/10 --- Depp would be a shoe in for the oscar, but Tommy Lee Jones shits all over everyone in 'the valley'
-American Gangster - 7/10 --- Pretty solid all around
-Juno- 6.5/10 -- Cute, Quirky....Not up to the hype, but still good
-3:10 to Yuma -- 6.5/10 --- Good....Story book style ending, but really good acting and a good message

No it's not.:nono: There's plenty left to be said. Why didn't you give it 10/10? What was the reason? the ending?

I eagerly await your response, so don't leave me hanging.

No....I had no problem with the ending...I didnt give it a 10 because there were a couple of scenes that I didnt think were well executed....the scene where the man asks the wife where they are going....I thought the scene with Woody and Bardem was missing something...Just seemed like very briefly for a couple of parts the film lost its focus

Still by far one of the best movies I've ever seen

Just the commercials we have been bombarded with and the product placement shit they are pushing with it have made me want to never have to think of this garbage movie ever again.

As a matter of fact, you posting your review just made me angry thinking about it all over again. :nono:
