No Country For Old Man: 9/10 FUCKING GREAT!!!! But like someone already said the Tommy Lee Jones scenes could've been cut out..and wouldn't change the movie one bit. I would've like to see what happen in the room at the end with Chigurh and Llewelyn wife...Chigurh 12 gauge w/ the silencer..:clap: and that other shit he was using the thing that look like a gas tank..:clap:....Llewelyn finds 2 million dollars in the desert sorrounded by a bunch of dead body and a few kilos of cocaine..Llewelyn takes the money.....get away clean but dumb ass comeback the same night to give water to one of the bodies in the desert who was still alive...

Funny flick, un-necessary male nudity. No female nudity. A damn shame because these two women are stunning.

Dude, Adam Sandler is a self headlining movie star. I don't think he got there because I'm the only fan on his bandwagon.

Meanwhile Idiocracy, a movie I was excited about when I first heard the premisem damn near went straight to video.

 

I've seen lots of movies that went straight to video that were better then the crap they push on us at the multiplexes.

I don't hate Sandler but for someone who likes Sandler movies so much to say "Idiocracy" was only for 12 year olds and retards is a bit odd to say the least. :dunno:

The fuck I care if a movie is mainstream or not. If I do one thing for sure it's I think for myself. I just didn't find Idiocracy funny and was disappointed by it. I'm going a bit overboard though, because to each his own, so if you guys liked it, I can respect that.

all the people saying "take the Tommy Lee Jones scenes out of No Country", what the hell, stretch your minds a little. aesthetic appreciation is a journey, some things you like right now, some things you'll grow to like. the artists felt those elements were integral, so trust the artists' judgement - enjoy the parts you like, and reflect on the parts you don't. in time, as your tastes change, the scenes will likely gather more resonance for you. particularly - the TLJ scenes are about getting old. no wonder you sophomores don't feel it; still, take it in, it may very well grow on you.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall: Had a few funny parts, but for the most part was disappointing IMO. The only thing that made it watchable was that fine ass brunette girl Minati mentioned. Goddamn she was sexy! But other than that, a pretty average movie. 5/10

I finally got around to watching this movie. I think this and No country for old man were the best 2 movies from last year.

Daniel Day Lewis kicks ass like he did in Gangs of New York. :cheer:

Directed to youner people obviously. Had some good moments but overall it was too predictable for this kind of movie and thus not as funny as I hoped for. 7/10
