What was ironic was the jewish art dealer was the only one who really believed in Hitler. Everybody else thought he was a hack.

The more I think about the movie the more ridiculous it seems............but it was actually a pretty good flick.

Are you serious - This movie was probably the worst film I have ever paid to see.

It must have been written when the writers where taking a time out.
Stupid story line and that BS ending.:shit:

1/10 - Angelina saves this piece of crap from getting negative digits.

    SEX AND THE CITY

    GRADE: A

PREMISE - The girls of sex and the city return and this time Carey's getting married, the girls go on a vacation together and Samantha is having 2nd thoughts about being in a relationship.

CRITIQUE - A very good story IMO, it was like an extra long version of the show and I felt they really captured real reactions and feelings to the point they needed no explanation. The humor was typical S&TC and you could tell they had the same writers from the show. I loved this movie.

Biasim - I just want to say that I'm a big fan of the show since my wife got me hooked on it, so take my review with a grain of salt. If you're likewise a fan I don't see anyway you couldn't enjoy this movie, if you're not, then who knows.

HOLLYWOOD RACIST MOMENT - The little role they wrote in just to give the film a bit of color. The tv show never felt the need to do this and would go whole seasons without having a black person uttering one syllable, but since this was going to be a major motion picture they had to be PC and write in a little story about some black people and gave the main role to none other than Jennifer Hudson of Dreamgirls.

    THE HAPPENING

    GRADE: B-

PREMISE - A weird phenomenon is happening on the east coast causing people to kill themselves. As it seems relegated to one area most people try to flee the state to a safer area but find it hard to escape this....happening. Is it a terrorist attack, natural occurance, or just a mass suicide club? You'll find out because unlike most have been saying, the cause is explained.

CRITIQUE - I found the movie to be pretty good. Watching people go into a trance like state and then kill themselves with whatever was available at the time was pretty cool. The story itself wasn't great, but it was decent and I found myself not wanting to switch it off even though I had outside distractions calling me. It wasn't the best M. Night Shylaman but it wasn't the worse and it's worth a look.

I disagree. I was a fan of the series but this movie is a pale shadow of it. The movie lacked pretty much everything the show had: witty dialogue, new, fresh perspectives and thoughts. This was a very traditional romantic comedy and its jokes were not clever, they were just tryig tto be bold. Also at ties it looked like a one big commercial with all the Luis Vutton's. It wasn't all bad but I expected much more as a fan of the show

    Hellboy II 6.5/10

Never in my wildest dream to see Barry Manilow's "Cant Smile W/O You" will now be forever associated with Hellboy.

This is a movie relied heavily on CGI (with very stunning visual effect) while the plot is pretty thin. Scattered humor here and there cant save the movie from being fallen into the category of just another super hero save the world.

The Orphanage - Spanish horror/suspense flick by Guillermo del Toro, the director? of Pan's Labyrinth. Not particularly scary, but the film was very well done. One of the better horror/suspense flicks I've seen lately since it lacks a lot of that "cheese" factor that most horrors tend to have. 8.5/10

    Rescue Dawn
    - Another flick where Christian Bale drops to about 130lbs. This time hes a fighter pilot shot down prior to the Vietnam War and is captured as a POW. This film really shows Bale's limitations as an actor, just imagine the American Psycho character as a 100lb POW. The film had some good moments, but for the most part it just dragged. Don't know what the runtime of the movie was, but it felt like forever. 5/10

A friend of mine was recommending The Orphanage. I guess two good reviews is enough...I'll have to see it now.

Did Bale do that around the time of The Machinist or does he just like going anorexic?

Has anybody seen Gonzo yet? I'm thinking of checking that out tonight or sometime this week.

    PERSEPOLIS

    GRADE: B-

PREMISE - A young girl born in Iran tells the story of how she grew up during the time her country went from a more free era to the now religiously fundamental state it is still in today.

CRITIQUE - The story was quite interesting and funny in parts, however it wasn't necessarily an important story. You basically just hear about how one girl grew up in a changing country how it effected her and the changes she went through as she moved abroad to go to school got laid came home and left again.

THE VISUAL - The story is narrated and shown as a weird type of cartoon-like view that looks like the cover of the book if you've seen it.

    THE LOVE GURU

    GRADE: F+

PREMISE - Mike Myers is a self help love guru who gets hired to help a professional hockey player cope with the fact that his girlfriend left him for a big dick packing goaley.

CRITIQUE - This was really bad. The comedy was too over the top and not in a funny way. It was almost like Naked Gun type of a comedy style only not funny. I really wanted to cut this off, because the dialogue was also corny and the jokes were just bad. I can't say enough about how bad this movie was. Save yourself some time and money and don't go see this. Austin Powers 2 this was not.

The Dark Knight: The best superhero movie ever. Better than ALL the gay ass Spidermans, better than the previous Batmans, better than Ironman, The Hulk, ect. Even though it was long as all fuck, I enjoyed every minute, and will see it again! 10/10

The domestic box office went into overdrive on Friday as Warner Bros.' Batman sequel "The Dark Night" stood ready to deliver the best opening day gross ever, taking in an estimated $60 million to $63 million in ticket sales from a record 4,366 theaters.

Ledger(R.I.P) was an AWESOME joker! A better one than Jack was, and that surprised me.

Its a shame he died. He was a talented actor, and this movie would have made him a superstar, and totally erased the Brokeback image people had of him.

But Ledger was great. And Christian Calzaghe once again did well as Batman.

Even that fag Aaron Eckhart was good in this movie! Thats how good it was!

I saw The Dark Knight yesterday and loved it.

Ledger was terrific as the Joker and made it hard not to root for him despite being a homicidal maniac.

I'm kind of surprised that they got it to PG-13. That movie is very violent and more adult-like for a PG-13 flick.

There are few movies that actually live up to the hype... Batman IMO lives up to that hype and SURPASSES it! I agree with just about everything that was said before: the movie was FUCKING LONG, but I enjoyed every minute of it.

Ledger played the role of the Joker PERFECTLY, like somebody said before, the character was almost likeable despite the fact that he was a freakin screwball.
