No it isn't. That's what happens to good movies that people talk about a lot or almost anything for that matter. All of a sudden it becomes overrated because everyone's talking about it. Well maybe everyone is talking about it because it's actually pretty fucking good.

You should post a poll on this. I think Superbad was definitely overrated. Same formulaic teen/tween comedy.

I just saw this too. Zelwegger's troll like presence does take away from the quality of the movie, but I still thought it was very good, and better than recent westerns like 3:10 to Yuma. 7.5/10

Zellwegger's scrunchy face is pretty damn annoying.

I thought she was good in "Me, Myself and Irene" and kind of cute in "Jerry McGuire" but I think the anti-schizo medication she's on fucked up her face or something. :dunno:

WANTED Too much has been written here about this film. I thought it wasn't going to be that good, but to put it bluntly I enjoyed it a lot! Watching it back-to-back with EAGLE EYE made me see some similarities with both films, but I liked this one more. Why Angelina Jolie gets all the hoopla when in fact hers was a supporting role? Love the Danny Elfman song "The Little Things" which I have been humming for the past week. WANTED: 8/10/ EAGLE EYE 7/10

I liked "Wanted" to. Not as much as you but I thought it was a fun movie for what it was. Angelina's skinniness was a distraction though. She needs to put back on a bunch of pounds.

    Notorious.

Alot better than I expected. Some of what was in the movie wasn't exactly true, but they stayed pretty close to the story. And I'm glad they didn't make BIG seem like a total tough guy or constantly confident and in charge. The acting wasn't great.

I did the right thing by going to see this on opening night. Note to anyone else, if you're ever iffy about seing a movie, see it on opening night, because the theater is full of people who are really excited to see it and that'll make a so-so movie pretty good.

Luckily, the theater is the first stop after 125th street, so it was full of Harlem's finest. The commentary was great! "Oh mah gawd. If I see one more nipple, i'm gonna slap the first fat black n*gga I lay my muthafuckin eyes on."

I went to see the wrestler last night, a very good movie with and excellent performance from Rourke. It kinda stalls mid way through but it give a great insight to the life of a wrestler. It's a sad tragic existence for most.

BIG was also on TV last night, Tom Hanks is plays that role very well, his interaction with the female lead is hilarious.

    BIG is ace.

It's a perfect Sunday afternoon move, along with the likes of The Goonies, Stand By Me and Home Alone.

Yeah I agree but Big was even better as an adult where as I think the Goonies is better of being remembered from a child's perspective.

Co-sign. Goonies makes you think back to being a kid. It's awesome when you remember what you were doing when you saw it the first time.

Spanish horror movie which is the basis for the movie Quarantine. One of the scarier movies I have ever seen, and the only horror to frighten me in my adult life so far.

Of course it's ridiculous. I laughed throughout, not just at that one scene. It was still entertaining though. :bears:

Ridiculous premise but pleasantly surprisingly good. Nothing shown in the film is generally possible given the characters we're presented with...................but still, it's a nice, quirky enjoyable movie. Mos Def is very good, Danny Glover gives his best performance in years, Jack Black is.............well, he's Jack Black, no surprises here...........and the little Mexican chick is cute as a button.

The star is really the director who took a logically faulty premise and was inventive enough to make it work anyways. I liked it. 8/10
