Well, yesterday i walked into the theater and watched Linday Lohan's I Know Who Killed Me, seriously, one of my many bad choices this year, this is no question the lead candidate of Worst Movie of 2007 Award.

Knocked Up - Made by the same guys who did 40 Year Old Virgin so same type of humor, but a bit less raunchy. I thought it was hilarious - definitely one of the better movies I have seen lately.

Slither - I expected a cheezy horror flick (which it was) but it was also pretty damn funny. It's a horror comedy in the style of Shaun of the Dead, but I didn't realize it until I popped the movie in. It was a plesant suprise and was entertaining.

Harry Potter Order of the Phoenix - This is the first Harry Potter movie that I have seen. I was pretty much forced to watch this but I was suprised - I thought it was actually pretty good.

Transformers - it was absolute hollywood summer blockbuster cheese, but I loved it! Incredibly stupid, but also incredibly entertaining in the same way Independence Day was.

I liked Knocked up despite every other word being fuck, if you can get past that it's a pretty funny

Transformers was alright I suppose, for a pg 13 movie it was decent, at least they kept Megatron and Starscream, but then again no shockwave, I wouldn't be surprised if a 2nd movie came out as this one left out a lot that could be capitalized on

I saw Green Street Hooligans a while back, that was decent if you can grasp the lingo and the storyline

SUNSHINE - 7.5/10 - For those that like sci fi. About 50 yrs in the future, the sun is burning out and a team of scientist/astronauts fly out to relight it with a special bomb. Some good acting and dialogue from some pretty good 2nd tier actors w/1st tier talent, like the guy who plays Johnny Storm is a better actor than you would have thought. Problem w/ this movie is it gets a little dumb in the last 30 minutes or so but not enuogh to ruin it IMO. Rewatchability 4/5

HOME OF THE BRAVE - 7/10 - Depressing military movie of 4 soldiers who return from Iraq and the post war syndrome and injury problems they're suffering. Good performances from Sam Jackson, Jessica Biel and Curtis "50 cent" Jackson. The movie wasn't bad, but I really didn't get the point and it didn't seem like a story per say. Rewatchability 2/5

Beerfest: Same guys who did Super Troopers about some brothers who go to Germany to compete in a drinking games tournament. Stupid, but entertaining movie. Pretty funny, but not on the same level as Super Troopers IMO. 7/10

23: Jim Carey, in a suspense/thriller. Can't really tell much about the plot without giving it away. Kinda cheesy. 4/10

Zodiac: Movie about the Zodiac killer. Same director as two of my favorite movies (Fight Club and Seven), but this film failed to really grab my attention. The movie is pretty damn long and anti climactic, but good acting. 6/10

no no no no 4/10 and that's being generous. The movie had a very amateurish feel to it throughout.

When you say they are all fucked? Do you mean all the girls get fucked by the boys or are they fucked because they're being hunted? Just asking because one of those plots is a lot more interesting then the other.

I thought the bridge sucked. Very good concept but quite boring.

Disturbia was quite a surprise, a little cliche but decent none the less.

Taking lives doesn't suck. If you're going to compare it too movies like Seven or Kiss the Girls, yeah, it'll come up short. However taken on it's own it's an underrated thriller and definitely worth watching. Angelena Jolie gives another performance where she's a female badass who can single handidly fuck up a guy. Ethan Hawke gives another dry performance IMO but the euro guy from Unfaithful gives a good account of himself. I'd rate those movies in this order.

Insideman - Mainly for it's star power moreso than the mediocre story.
Taking Lives - Not a bad movie at all
K-Pax - Can't remember if this is really worth watching or not, but I don't remember feeling negatively about it. Just that I didn't want to sit through it again.
3 BoE - Never saw it.
