Morales hit harder than Hamed. Who are we to argue with Wayne? A good, honest, down to earth Irishman who shared the ring with both men.

Hamed ranks with Danny Lopez, Arguello and Saddler as the heaviest featherweight hitters I've ever seen

Hameds handspeed, unpredicatbility, southpaw stance and ability to throw shots that guys didn't see coming could well have augmented his power, caused it to have better effect. Morales may well have been the harder puncher, but Hamed could take guys out because he could nail them with shots they didn't see.

The only time i can recall a fighter claiming the best fighter they fought was a guy who beat them was Wilfredo Gomez about Salvador Sanchez.

The cynic in me thinks that's probably only because of the tragic car accident. If his career went on i have little doubt Gomez would have said somebody else was better.

    yeah, probably.

It must be a kind of defense mechanism fighters develop to keep their confidence. 'It wasn't that that guy was better, i just had an off night/the ref was on his side/he got lucky. He ain't all that.'

Malignaggi said the best guy he fought was Cotto. I am kinda reaching though, come to think of it. Hatton has always given Floyd his due as well, more so than Pacquiao actually.

Benn has always said Watson was the best guy he fought, again though, could be because of what happened to him.

It Doesn't Surprise REED that Hatton Keeps it REAL...He Probably Suspects Pacquaio was JUICING, which is Why he Doesn't Give him the Same Props...

Fritzie Zivic summed up Ray Robinson with "what's the use of telling tall tales? he won... Everything I done, he done better. His hands looked like they go off automatically"

    that's honest

you ever wonder if there is some obese balding turd south of the border bragging to his friends on the elmundodelpeleas forum about how his buddy "Reymundo Robinson" wouldve thrashed any welter in history?

I'm sure you remember the "second round I were kicking his ass until he hit me with that freak punch..." bollocks he was spouting. He's chilled out on that a bit but the other week he said the 2005 version of him which beat Tszyu would have beaten the Pacquiao of '09.

Has Hatton Ever Accused Pac of Juicing???...

His Recollection of the Fight is Obviously ABSURD, but REED Thinks that Hatton Believes Pac was on PED's, Which Pac MORE than Likely Was...

I've never heard him even hint at Pacquiao juicing, as far as I'm aware anyway. I think he's more cut up about the way he lost than anything else, it was massively humiliating, which is why he's always tried to take some of the shine off it.
