I love it. You could say you reached out to"Teddy Blackass" (or whatever name) for comment. Put it at the end of your video and cut it saying "you ran out of time".

A bit dumb from mike to go to an interview if he doesnt want to talk about his past.

Mike didn't duck the question at all.

He simply said that Atlas' version is a lie.

Tyson probably gets sick of talking about Teddy, cause it gives Teddy press.

Teddy will never turn down talking about Tyson, since without Tyson, Atlas NEVER becomes famous. He'd still be some small-time local NY trainer.

He didnt ducked the question, but the end of the interview he seems to be ranting about getting questioned about his past.

Now that you mention it i think that was in the vid title. Mythical matchups is an interesting topic. As irritating as Atlas can be with the taller man vs shorter man obvious stuff on occasion he brings up some good points and can be analytical without too much bias. (unless it has anything to do with Tyson)

Started watching the video and nothing but rambling and stating the obvious. I don't even recall who the matchup was between.

Atlas knows the Xs and Os, without question... his technical insight is first-rate (his tendency to harp on certain things or use irritating analogies is I think really just a matter of trying to make the most novice viewer understand what’s happening, rather than some sort of stupidity on his part) but unfortunately he’s mistaken that for having insight about everything and he cannot resist making himself the story

he’s also clearly a complete maniac... he got the knife wound in a traffic dispute... I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the person that cut him did it in self defense

Well if Atlas was chasing him that means Hector was running from him. If he was running from him that must mean he could kick Hector’s ass. What were their weights back then? Where they around the same class?

Speaking of Atlas I wonder if he was too outspoken for his own good. He eventually got fired for too much criticism of boxing politics and probably for the multiple threats he made against production people and even some higher ups. Look at how well Kellerman did after leaving ESPN compared to Atlas.

I used to really dislike Atlas because I felt he does so much stuff to put the attention on himself, such as waiting until they were in the ring to give Michael Grant this speech about overcoming self-doubt instead of telling him this in the locker room when the cameras weren’t on them. Manny Steward politely suggested on camera that Atlas was embarrassing Grant and doing this to make himself the center of attention.

I still think there’s a lot of truth in that, but I also think Atlas is just nuts and I’m more amused by him now than anything else.

Tyson has admitted before on “Beyond the Glory” that he grabbed her ass. Atlas claims that Tyson “tried to force himself on her”.

Tyson saying that if he had a gun on Atlas, the bullets wouldn’t be fired merely in the air made me think of a passage in the book Bad Intentions by Peter Heller. According to that book, some of Mike’s Brownsville friends were ready to get payback and help him kill Atlas. I think Tyson got talked out of it or something, or it was because Atlas got fired.

I do believe the stories about Cus being an enabler and letting Tyson get away with shit because of his talent. Cus was also a very strange guy who is said to have occasionally try to come on to Floyd Patterson and sleep next to him nude.

Mike Tysons supposedly nuts. He's not. He's just very angry and doesn't possess the skills or education to deal with it.

Teddy Atlas is supposedly angry. He's not. He's just fucking mentally disturbed.

I'd trust Mike more than Atlas when it comes to certain things.

And it's obvious. Mendacity is not Mikes strong suit. Telling a jury that you were going to fuck some girls is probably not the sort of thing a guy on rape charges would say if he was a liar or a calculating sort.

Teddy of course is menally different.

    Sometimes he’s funny, albeit inadvertently.

But his schtick is tired and played out, and I can only stomach him for 10 seconds before I change the channel.

Povetkin should have said "No I believe in having a good trainer".

Atlas said he did what he was doing to "help" Povetkin.

I bet the paycheck didn't hurt either.

Tyson is hilarious. No matter how tame he may seem, there is still that joe Pesci in goodfellas feeling you get around him. Like anything can set him off and you don’t even know what it could be.
