certainly, there are a lot of black folks in DC. floyd got a lot of love when he came down here to party few weeks after his win over oscar.

the thing i dont get about him is that he appears to be a nice guy in person, but he puts on this act when he's in front of the camera. i dont know which is which.

 

I think both personalities/sides of him are real.

I think a lot of great athletes, especially boxers, are complicated people to be honest. With a real bad, dark side to them.

 

Heres a little sample of one of the things he did for us.

At Light inside Bellagio I saw that Floyd had the table right next to ours. He was about to fight Castillo the 2nd time and I was chatting with Ellerbe about boxing I remember a 5 minute debate over Barrera-Morales 1 and then Castillo 1st fight. Floyd walks by and Mr Ellerbe says, "Floyd-this kid knows his shit." Floyd comes over and we do black-person handshake, talk boxing for a minute and 3 minutes later a bottle of Dom is at our table....Floyd waves and we drink teh Dom.


So I guess if sweetpea sends me a bottle of Dom I might have to become a fan. Wow i would make a terrible NBA ref.

Sounds cool to me. Usually if a person acts like a nice guy, the people he treated well will usually think he's a nice guy.

I compared Zoo once to a fucking scumbad and a thief, after he was found guilty of stealing millions of dollars from Bill Mordey, a guy he called "my second father"
He was also found guilty of stealing from another one of his managers, Susie Bennett, who he called "my second mother". After that was revealed, I called the guy "a disgusting piece of human excrement".
