Choof, no doubt Uriah must have improved since then. But Weidman had 2 fights, he was more of a novice than Hall.

Plus I think it's a good indicator of Hall's mental fragility. I have a feeling Uriah will fold mentally if someone can take what he dishes out, keep coming, and put the pressure on. Kelvin is exactly that type of fighter.

REED's Pretty Sure Dana White will Make Uriah REVISIT Weidman, @ Some Point....In the Meantime, Uriah's Gonna WAX Kelvin in LESS than a Round....

Nah, he was promoting. He's always promoting. And the hyperbolic praise of Uriah throughout this season has been really lame.

That said, I was very impressed with Hall in this last fight. I wonder how serious Chael was about saying he is a contender right now?

Chael is such a bullshitter, you can never know for sure when he's being serious.

This fucking forum. I already typed most of this shit yesterday, but the forum fucked me.

Oh, Bubba lost before he walked into the ring, but Uriah didn't blow him away from what I could tell. It really looked like he thumbed him, in the video, in Bubba's reaction, in Bubba's eye appearance after.

I guess Dana did the right thing by accident. I don't mind Hall being the #1 seed of the last 4 and Dylan being the #4 seed, but Dana just wanted to make the matchup that would get Uriah and Josh into the finals. Glad Kelvin fucked that up for him.

I don't think anything White has said about Hall is hyperbole. In previews he talked about the show having one of the most brutal KO's in UFC history and personally I put Hall's spinning kick KO as one of the top 5 I've ever seen. When White says Hall is the meanest fighter in TUF history, obviously it's opinion. But to be honest, Hall has delivered EXACTLY as advertised. No exaggeration at all.

People need to fucking watch Uriah with that. He flicks his punches out kind of open handed, the same damn thing happened to Dylan, he got fingered or thumbed in his right eye.

Kind of Funny that NEITHER Bubba, NOR Dylan Spoke of Being Thumbed, Don't You Think???...

Not really. Bubba would have been smashed anyway, I don't think he even realised what happened to him tbh, he was kind of KTFO and thumbed at the same time.

Dylan is the proud warrior type, not the kind of guy to complain. But it's clear to see how both eye injuries happen, Uriah punches with his fingers splayed out.

When a Guy is THUMBED, there's Almost Always an IMMEDIATE Reaction...That WASN'T the Case in Uriah's Fight w/Dylan, for Certain...& Bubba Acted as if he LOST Conciousness Altogether...

Uriah is a VERY "Meaty" Puncher, Bro...Even his JABS Feel like Powershots, in 4oz. Gloves...FFS, he Outpunched Dylan FROM THE BOTTOM!!!...

@ Least 1 of those Guys (Dylan, Bubba) Would've Spoken Out about Being THUMBED, if it were as Prevalent as you're Suggesting...

Plenty of heavy handed guys out there REED, how often do you see eye injuries like that? In 2 consecutive fights? How else do you explain those injuries?

It's too much of a coincidence too that Uriah happens to often throw jabs and right hands with his fucking fingers splayed out, right there to scratch an eye

Sometimes things just go unnoticed or unpunished for some reason, like Floyd's blatant elbowing and use of the forearm to the throat, or Mares' ridiculous amount of low blows.

It's pretty clear to me that both those guys got scratched in the eye, as that's exactly what causes those type of injuries, not just a hard, clean punch.

Having said all this, I went off Uriah on the show, but he is clearly a very impressive fighter. He reminds me of a black Bruce Lee. His hands aren't THAT quick, but his kicks are ridiculously fucking fast, and accurate.

I wouldn't be shocked if he did destroy Kelvin, but I'm still going with my boy Kelv to beat him up :kidcool:

Women's MMA in the UFC will succeed as long as the fighters are skilled and it doesn't look like a kid's karate class. Women's boxing failed because most fights looked like a half assed toughman contest rather than a fight between skilled competitors. Having a fighter with Olympic level judo like Rousey goes a long way to legitimizing the women's fights.

Zingano is on juice. She still has the face of a girl, but that body doesn't look natural, at all.

Women's mma, for the time being, needs a looker like Carano or Rousey ruling the roost. Otherwise, it's destined to be bumped off of the ufc or pushed to the back burner.

lol, saturday's women fight was abysmall skill level wise. It looked much more toughman like than most women boxing contest I've seen. Both were leading straigh up with their chin up. Sure it was better on the ground but this is MMA, not wrestling or BJJ

They are all on the juice, did you see the size of Rousey arm in the video Trspsec posted a couple of months ago ( where she's in a talk show and the host makes a comment about her having huge arms ) ?? I can't get mine to be as big and cut and I weight lift like a mother fucker. Same for Carmouche, yes, sure, this looks like a natural atheletic woman body to me

Rewatching it, it's more of her upper arms, shoulder and chest ( incindentally, the parts of the body who repond the most to steroids ) than arms

High level grappling in last Saturday's fight. I think that's the difference.

Rousey is a big girl, she was pretty fat when she started out fighting at 145. She's also been tossing people around since she was a kid. She's no normal woman.

Is she on something? Who fucking knows, I'd just rather not assume anything.

Yep. I am a relatively outspoken hater of PEDS, but I normally give fighters an "innocent untl proven guilty" pass. The exceptions would be guys like Overeem that just gained size at a rate the clearly wasn't natural.

But Rousey was heavier as an Olympian as she last competed at 154 pounds in Judo and only 145 in MMA. She doesn't look masculine or naturally big to me.

I look at girls like Carmouche, Cyborg and even Zingano thinking their builds are man-like but that has never been the case with Meisha Tate or Rousey.
