Just finished this movie. Very good movie. Has some comedy in it, but it's basically a drama about a boy who really doesnt fit in anywhere. Finds some new friends who help build his confidence while his home life falls apart. Steve Carrell is not in it much, but is very good as the asshole stepfather. No jokes from him just a straight up asshole role. Which he did well. The great performance in this movie IMO was Sam Rockwell.
