the World's End review

The World's End Okay I have to admit that I had zero interest in watching this movie since it was from the creators of Hot fuzz and Shaun of the Dead, two movies everybody were raving about and that left me completely unamused. Thanks to Arturo Gatti that asked me to check it out since this is a very entertaining film. A group of friends lead by Gary the King (Simon Pegg) reunite to relive their beer binge from their youth and get closure to their unfulfilled goal of drinking on 12 pubs on the same night until dawn. The movie could have been perfect without the scifi angle that is introduced after 39 minutes of solid comedy. From there on is Invasion of the Body Snatchers meets Beerfest...and that is wonderful. Fun film for beer drinkers and sober people alike. Recommended.8/10
