In which weightclass do you contend the following men were at their absolute best? I ask, as these fighters often garner debate on the subject...

    Felix Trinidad

    James Toney

    Manny Pacquiao

    Shane Mosley

    Alexis Arguello

    Oscar De La Hoya

    Julio Cesar Chavez

    Juan Manuel Marquez

    IMO...

    Trinidad (Jr. Middle)

    Toney (Super-Middle)

    Pacquiao (Jr. Welter)

    Mosley (Light)

    Arguello (Jr. Light)

    De La Hoya (Jr. Welter)

    Chavez (Light)

    Marquez (Feather)

i agree with all of your selections. in the case of Chavez, ODH and Pacquiao, it's for sure a judgement call, though, since those guys didn't spend much time at 135, 140 and 140, respectively.

but in each of those cases i think those guys carried the weight perfectly, and seemed best suited for the competition.

ODH seemed to lack strength against the very best at 147, but was somewhat awkward at 135. Likewise, Chavez at 140 and at 130, although he wasn't awkward at 130 so much as he seemed somewhat weakened.

Pacquiao was certainly well suited to 135 and 147, apparently, although the taller guys at 147 would certainly provide Pacquiao with problems.
