Ol' Rocky was about as BRIGHT as a Dimly lit Bulb, but he Sure Could Get his Point Across, Couldn't He???...PUNCHDRUNK WISDOM!!!...

If U're Judging "Rocky Balboa" on it's CINEMATIC Artistic Merits, U Might Not Like it...But as the Final Chapter of a CLASSIC Series of Boxing Films, it's VERY Good...It's TRUE to the Other 5 Rocky Flicks, it's TRUE to the Sport of Boxing (They Used Real Life Boxing Journalists/Media Sorts & Lou DiBella had a Fairly Prominent Role as "Mason Dixon's" Promoter/Matchmaker)...

Stallone & the Rocky Character BOTH Got to End the Series on THEIR Terms & it was VERY Entertaining to Watch...

Agreed otherwise but I didn't like including Tyson to the movie because it is impossible to imagine him as a part of the 'Rocky-world', meaning when was he the champ in the Rocky world, why those two didn't meet earlier etc. A minor detail of course, but somehow it bothered me

 

I wondered exactly the same thing.

 

That was Probably a Spur of the Moment Thing....

REED Knows for a FACT that the RINGWALK & Some of the Early Pre-Fight & Fight Scenes were Filmed just Minutes Prior to When Jermain Taylor & Bernard Hopkins ACTUALLY Fought (Their 1st Fight)...The "Mason Dixon vs. Rocky Balboa" Live Audience was REALLY There to See Jermain Taylor vs. Bernard Hopkins Fight...Those WEREN'T Paid Extra's....

Tyson Frequents MANY of the Vegas Bouts & Upon Seeing him there, Sly Probably COULDN'T Resist Including Mike, if Only Briefly...Likewise, EVERY Boxer Looooooooooooves the "Rocky" Flicks, so Tyson Probably JUMPED @ the Chance to B in the Film, if Only Briefly...
