Yeah the sport is in a bad state when it comes to that.

Floyd pretty much laid the blue print on DELAYING the best fights in favor of maximizing the profit or even in hopes of the other guy declining while doing the heavy lifting and in the mean time, just take easy fights.

Khan and Thurman basically did that too.

 

Floyd really fucked things up.

It's not 100% his fault, but there's a reason you can see the immediate difference in huge fights that were happening in the 90s compared to the 2000s.

 

Yeah not just Floyd but Al Haymon and pbc took it to another level. I'm still puzzled how their business model generates revenue. They got the talent but are fed a healthy diet of tomato cans. And just whe we thought we would see Charlo(pbc fighter) fight a tough opponent (Canelo) he gets arrested for felony assault/domestic violence. These pbc fighters love beating women lmao.

 

The "Problem" with Al Haymon is He Allows His Fighters to Be as AMBITIOUS or RELUCTANT as They Choose To Be...

If They Don't Give a Shit About Their OWN Legacies, Haymon Doesn't Either...He's a BUSINESS Man, Not a "Boxing Guy"...Hell, He Doesn't Even Bother ATTENDING His Own Fights, High Level or Otherwise...

As for Charlo, You Obviously Didn't Bother to READ the Charge Levied Against Him, Which Isn't Surprising...A MALE Relative Claims Charlo "Struck Him" Back in September...

PBC fighters in general don't, but the majority of them are arseholes.

 

That's cool I hope Charlo walks free if what he's saying it's true. Fun fighter to watch. Really want to see Charlo vs Canelo more than Bivol vs Canelo. And as for the pbc there's Tank, Mayweather, and now Charlo . I was being a bit of a troll so yes not all pbc fighters beat women.

 

From a mainstream appeal standpoint, Canelo-Charlo is a MUCH bigger fight.

However, Bivol has a far better chance of pulling an upset.

Jermall's basic ass ain't beating Canelo..

 

Jermall would get absolutely annihlated against Canelo, but I actually think that will be a more entertaining fight.
