Molina feared Broners power more than Matthysse. Its the only conclusion one can draw.

I'd like to see Garcia vs Thurman and Crawford vs Broner.

Broner definitely has enough power to make people cautious about doing stupid stuff against him, I think in my mind. Heck I've read somewhere Molina said he punches harder than Mathysse... :dunno:

Broner sucks when he's not pummeling guys half his size. Such a cheap imitation of mayweather.

Hard for the ref to throw the fight when Molina won't even throw punches.

Molina is finished. And he called out Broner for not wanting to exchange.

According to punchstats, Broner threw 502 punches (42 per round) and Molina threw 249 (21 per round.) Molina needs to look in the mirror. It was a shitty fight and the referee was horrendous.

Molina is indeed the reason the fight was shitty.

Broner came to fight. Yeah, he stunk it out in the 12th, but in the other 11 rounds the fight was shitty because Molina was simply too spooked to let his hands go.

Having said that, Broner is not that good and never will be. But he doesn't have a boring style at least. Guy stands right in the pocket, and isn't a defensive wiz.

Ok. So I made that comment in round 2. After that, molina really did kind of puss out. He must have been angling for a single big shot.

But Broner is still a cheap imitation of pbf.

That doesn't really need to be stated at this point.

Broner isn't a fraction as good as Floyd.

He'd lose to many top fighters.

But he's pretty fun to watch.

Broner's loss of power as he's moved up definitely detracts from his entertainment value. At 126 he was desructive. Electrifying. Now he's just a 1-2 guy with some speed.

He's exciting because he stays in the pocket and isn't afraid to trade. I'm not sure it's as much a choice as it simply is he doesn't have the footspeed and reflexes to be elusive.

I didn't see him stand in the pocket hardly at all against Molina. There was almost no trading at all in fact.

Basically, Broner led with jabs and left hooks and the occasional right. But he wasn't trading and he was barely countering.

So if what you say is true, I didn't see it. Not on saturday.

I think that Broner used to have potential. Bue, he has pretty much squandered it all with his lack of focus and seriousness. I'll be surprised if he ever achieve more than being a talented, semi-exciting, top 5 guy.
