I don't see HBO putting the money and effort into it. Plus Tito doesn't even speak English.

The only thing going for it is timing as most of the genuine big fights will have been over by then.

 

The HBO PPV guru Mark Taffet looked liked he didn't even want to be there. I have a feeling someone made him swallow this pill. HBO will do zero to help this out.

There was a time when everybody was talking about the upcoming Tito Trinidad fight. Always a buzz in the air leading up to his fights. Too bad those days are over. It's that kind of electricity that we no longer get in boxing. And Floyd boring ass Jr isn't the one to do it.

 

Weren't HBO even a bit reluctant to take this up at all? Not a hope they will do a 24/7 on this, I think 650K will do well to be reached

 

Yeah, i think they even rejected it at first. Not sure what made them change their mind.

HBO kills me....this fight should do at least 500K buys, which except for Hoya/Mayweather dwarfs all other recent PPV numbers.

The cold shoulder has nothing to do with their feeling that this fight is insignificant......it's more to do with the fact that HBO heads hate Roy and hate Don even more....and don't think that other forces are not at work here(G).

Ask yourself if Tito came back to fight Oscar, would HBO pull out all the stops to make it a blockbuster, despite the fact that it meant nothing to boxing's overall landscape? Of course they would....


Nonetheless even without HBO's help I think this fight will be a huge success.

 

I am excited for this fight but in a way hope it doesn't happen.. Tito is going to get SERIOUSLY hurt..
