You know me: one of Tito's biggest nuthuggers. But I am not blind. I always said Roy was going to beat him. In fact Roy could had KO him when he scored the first knock down and didn't do it mainly because he loves the guy (they are good friends). Pavlik is not his friend. He will KO him brutally. I really wish Tito retires for good. We don't need to see unconcious on the canvas. Not against a young guy he could had destroyed in his prime years. This is another mismatch that I pray doesn't materialize.
Wright pretty much stood right in front of Trinidad. How did that turn out? Granted Pavlik fights way differently but at 160 and higher you CAN stand toe to toe with Trinidad as long as you don't stand there with your arms at your side like Joppy did. Pavlik's straight punches would knock Trinidad silly.
Wright defense was damn near impenetrable that night! Trust me Pavliks defense is far from Wright's! Tito will land his shots! and unlike Taylor, if Pavlik is hurt he will be in the ring against one of the best finishers! THE GREAT FELIX TITO TRINIDAD! I will agree however if the fight is above 160 Tito's chances arent as good as if the fight were @160. WAR TITO!
Trinidad don't have Taylor's handspeed to catch Pavlik off guard. Trinidad eats straight punches for breakfast, especially at this point of his career. he gets smashed. When has Trinidad ever looked great at 160 or above? The Joppy fight? Cherifi ( )? Taylor would smash Trinidad as well.
Tito is finished man Hex!! Kaput. Done and dusted. Finished. Shot like a ball from a cannon. Let it go, because some of the shit being posted here is borderline retarded. I know he's your guy and all, and I love the passion you have for the Felix, but he has ABSOLUTELY no business in the same ring as Pavlik at this stage of his career. None whatsoever. Just let it go...
Even with FIVE cement hands... Next, we'll have people championing a return to the ring of Ali, so long as he performs well in a 'tune-up' against Sonny Liston...
No matter. In fact, it means Ali will look even better as he shakes his way across the ring to smash into what remains of Liston's lifeless, decaying corpse. Cue worldwide acclaim and clamour for an immediate title match against Wladimir Klitschko. In which Ali is 'live' because of his great and somewhat surprising performance in his return to the ring last time out...
well.. I don't agree with Ali coming back.. but I would like to see Hearns come back, maybe Holmes, Kenny norton, some others.. Now... Tyson really can still come back and win it all.. if he gets Rooney
makes perfect sense. you msy not agree with the prermise, but doesn't mena it doesn't make sense. been typing one handed because i need my other for my 40 oz but that doesn't mean i'm not msking sen se.
