Wlad actually threw a couple of rights in that round, still slow-paced though. Sultan is pretty much doing a survival

    wlad lands a nice right...
    and a couple of jabs...
    and another right...
    nice jab...
    sultan landed nothing all round...

    wlad 5-1-1

Is that sledgehammer that Wlad is using on Sultan's jab even legal? I can't remember ever seeing this as blatant as this. Might be legal but it doesn't seem quite fair to me for some reason. :dunno:

    lots more aggression from wlad..
sultan not looking like he can counter it..
    but sultan still trying..

Wlad hurt Sultan early in the 9th, then went on to controlling the rest of the round in cautious manner. Sultan is looking for big shots, otherwise he is completely outgunned

Wlad missed his right hands in the 10th, still took it with jabs though. Sultan jumped in to clinches

Wlad fought safe but won easily.

Boring but effective win for Dr Steel Hammer.

And people complained about Ruiz, Ruiz wanted to mix it up, they were alway's someone busted up in his fights, tonight was a sparring session, and a light one at that.

What a shame this fight was... I blame Wlad's shitty chin. He didn't take any chances.

Exactly. He won every round against a unbeaten fellow champion. It is difficult to shine against a guy who wallks around in a crouch and tries to last the distance.

It was a shitty fight, better than Ibragimov's last title fights though
