For example, President of the US (most world leaders) has very little time to sleep or relax. Is he allowed to quit? ;)

 

I hear ya, but when it comes to severe pain and possibly life and death decisions that also cannot be logically thought through in a particular situation of a fight weighing pros and cons everything gets a little bit different. And I cannot judge anybody who quits unless he messes up my bets on the fight in the process... ::

With the president you usually have workaholics who live for this type of power and don't suddenly think damn this shit is tougher than expected I think I need a break. But yeah it's interesting no US president has decided to walk away because of a burnout syndrome... ::

 

Word. It is shocking. I would quit the President's job within a week. I don't know how anyone does that. It's madness.

Back to boxing though....I'm somewhat jesting, I don't blame some fighters for quitting. better to quit than to end up like McClellan. When Tyson elected to stay down in the Lennox Lewis fight, I didn't blame him. He was getting beaten from pillar to post and there's nothing he could have done to change it. Same when Morales didn't want any more from Pacquiao in the 3rd fight.

The quitting that appalls me though is when a guy is IN the fight and has a chance to win but gives up because he's scared.
