Please DON'T Say "Chavez SR."...We ALL Know (Or SHOULD) Who to Reference, when the Name Comes Up in Such Debates...

Chavez is CHAVEZ...Chavez Jr. is "Chavez Jr"...

Does Tyson count? 25 years ago was 88, which Tyson's universally accepted peak. So I'll say he counts.

    1. Jones
    2. Whitaker
    3. Floyd
    4. Hopkins
    5. Chavez
    6. Lopez
    7. Tyson
    8. Pac
    9. Marquez
    10. Holy

Honorable mention: McCallum, Toney, Too Sharp, Morales, Norris, Tito, DLH, Mosley, and Tszyu.

    I'm sure there's some I forgot.

Yes, perhaps I did make the mistake of not including Too Sharp.

Overall, it's a tough list to make. Only the top 3 is an easy call. Roy, Pea, and Floyd are easily the 3 best of the last 25 years. After that, it's difficult to rank.

Fuck Too Slap. He absolutely doesn't belong on the list, especially when people are bitching about Finito.

His doctors will be confused, consult many specialists internationally and then find out the cause is a rare condition of disrespecting El Gran Campeon Mexicano.

Luckily for me though, there is the same disparity in fighting ability between Duran and Chavez as there is between Chavez and me. I would hire Duran as my bodyguard and he'd have the ugly little Burrito salesman pissing burritos and vomiting faeces for a week.

Hut, am I correct in thinking that liking Chavez is somewhat new for you? I seem to recall you half agreeing with me about Chavez, and also Tito, Tszyu etc.

I really do think that Mayweather is the best boxer from the last 25 years. On accomplishments + talent I;d have to rank Pea over Floyd

    1. Pea
    2. Floyd
    3. Hopkins
    4. Pacquiao
    5. Jones
    6. Chavez

Those are the top 6. Then you have to put everyone else in the next tier... Calzaghe, Lennox, Toney, Holy, MAB, Morales, McCallum, DLH, Tito, Mosley and Finito.
