#10. Vasyl Lomachenko #09. Mairis Briedis #08. Terence Crawford #07. Teofimo Lopez #06. Errol Spence Jr. #05. Josh Taylor #04. Juan Francisco Estrada #03. Oleksandr Usyk #02. Naoya Inoue #01. Canelo Alvarez
Help me out here. How can Usyk be #3 when he isn't top-3 even in his own division? Do you assume he would clearly defeat Fury, AJ and Wilder, if given the chance?
Why would Wilder be rated above him? No, I don't think he'll beat Joshua or Fury, I think he'll absolutely school Wilder, though. Usyk is top three, because I think at his absolutely best form, is by far and away the best fighter above SMW. Skill wise, he's on another level to anybody and is very talented in his own right. He also has a great résumé at CW, with wins over Hunter, Głowacki, Gassiev and Briedis. Being undisputed there in a time where it was one of the most talent-rich divisions in the sport is also very impressive IMO.
Ok, so you base p4p ranking on achievement and skill, which is fair enough. I have assumed most would read a current p4p ranking as a 'who beats who' -list, in which case Usyk does not belong.
