PBF's overall body of work makes him a great IMO. Not to mention I have NO problem at all picking him over Arguello at 130.

What about him versus Chavez? Or Nelson? Or Camacho?

What about them? I wouldn't pick him over Chavez I don't think. Although if he pecks and runs who knows. I think he could beat Nelson and Camacho. I do think a guy like Arguello would have been made for Floyd though.

I pick Mayweather over Arguello, Chavez over Mayweather, and Arguello over Chavez.

Also I'd make Mayweather the favorite over Nelson but underdog against Camacho.

I certainly wouldn't pick Mayweather over Arguello @ 130. 135? Sure. But NOT @ Jr Lightweight. Alexis Arguello is the best AND greatest Jr Lightweight of all-time.

    Heavyweight: Muhammad Ali, Larry Holmes?
175: Bob Foster & Michael Spinks are the 2 best I've seen. I've only seen Ezzard Charles @ HW. Based on his resume, he's probably #1.
168: Roy Jones Jr., James Toney
    160: Carlos Monzon, Bernard Hopkins
    154: Tommy Hearns, Mike McCallum
147: The 2 Sugar Rays, although I've seen very little of Robinson @ 147, just grainy highlights.
140: Aaron Pryor, Julio Cesar Chavez
135: Roberto Duran & Pernell Whitaker on who I've seen. Henry Armstrong (he usually was a lightweight in lbs when he defended his WW belt) would probably be up there too.
130: Floyd Mayweather Jr, Alexis Arguello. Maybe Hector Camacho Sr. is up there too along with J.C. Chavez.

How do you see Camacho doing head-to-head against the top 130 lb. fighters?

Hard to say, because he never really fought any of them. That said, the skills he showed in his short prime make him a tough fight for anybody. I think he might beat Arguello @ 130, simply because his footwork was simply ridiculous. He moved around the ring with so much speed that even Arguello's length wouldn't help him at times.

Thats the big difference between Mayweather's chances and Camacho's. Mayweather didn't move so much @ 130. He'd get hit and getting hit by Arguello usually meant you lost and lost painfully.

my only problem with Arguello being there, is I just think Chavez was a better fighter at 130, and compares favorably to him, even at 130. I think Chavez would stop Arguello late at any weight, and so I'd put him in there before Alexis

I think Arguello was better than Chavez @ 130 and would have taken him had they ever fought @ the weight.

But there's no right or wrong answer.

I pick Chavez, but you're right about there being no wrong answer. That's a dream matchup.

    Maybe 135, but certainly not @ 130.

Oscar was still getting accustomed to the pro ranks and working in between divisions while that was arguably Floyd's best weight.
