True, but Dimitrenko's was a Temple Shot that Jennings Quickly Recovered From...And Jennings Eventually Stopped Dimitrenko...

Whereas Ortiz Nearly Face Planted Jennings and Wiped His Ass w/Him...

Fury's Significantly More COMFORTABLE in a Boxing Ring than Joshua Will Likely EVER Be...

Fury's Loose and Relaxed Whereas Joshua's Rigid and a Bit On Edge...

Absolutely. The 'comfortable' thing is the key. Joshua has actually alluded to this himself, there was an interview where he was asked about Fury whilst all that stuff with depression was going on and he said "the only time Fury is at peace is when he's in a boxing ring". Pretty much nailed it.

Fury is an annoying cunt...but race has nothing to do with it. I hated Eubank (Snr) the most and he was blacker than the night.

For the record I just realised Mostarda was referring to Wilder and Fury as opposed to AJ and Fury, so my bad. But still, Wilder and Fury fight nothing alike either.

True...but...[in the immortal words of Larry Holmes]...so fucking what? I've seen many loose comfortable guys get knocked the fuck out by more textbook/rigid guys - Curry by McCallum, Judah by Tszyu, Kirkland Laing by some unknown scrub.

True but maybe carrying all that muscle on his body has something to do with it. Fury on the other hand has a dad-bod. He doesn't lift weights.

My point was, D&M suggested Wilder being a loud-mouth and a big-hitter was good for boxing, casual-fan-wise.
Take away the big-hitting - and you´ve got Fury.

Fury is good for boxing too....but the fact that Wilder is a big hitter on top of that would make him appeal more to the casual fan.

Fury is a big fucker who is comfortable in the ring, but he isn't that good. He got Wlad because he matched up well, Wlad was due to lose, and Fury did the spoiler thing decently. But he doesn't punch hard, he doesn't defend well, he doesn't, doesn't, doesn't.

What he is is Michael Grant with a lot more size, more natural fighting ability, and a lot less athletic ability. I don't see Fury beating Wilder or Joshua, nor do I see either of them having much difficulty beating him.

Guys that fight like Joshua, Garcia or Trinidad are much better examples of a “natural fighter” than someone like Fury.

If you fucked GGG’s wife and than has to do 4 hard rounds of sparring you’re going to start off looking a lot more like Fury than Joshua and it won’t be because you’re so confident and natural.

It takes a lot more “fighter”, nerve and confidence, to want to stand and throw hands. Jabs and pivots are what you learn...

    Word. Not even close.

Grant was an utter bum; no chin, no balance not real coordination and with a dumb fucking expression on his face in every fight as though he was clueless

I'd say it takes much more nerve and confidence to stand there with your hands down and invite the other guy to try and hit you, confident in the fact you'll be able to slip and avoid the shots.

I always said Fury was a born, natural, bred fighter and had great movement.

He might be a fat cunt and a dullard but he's a rarity, a genuinely native boxer in a fashion not indifferent to Mayweather.

He's born of fighters, been fighting since childhood and totally at ease in there.

    Totally accurate.

That’s another reason he’s a tough nut to crack. He literally has NO FEAR of any man across from him, having been fighting all his life.

That and he’s remarkably blessed with good foot speed and hand speed for a guy his size. Plus ring IQ to boot. His appearance/look would never give you that impression.

I think Wilder is in for a shock, honestly.

Seeing Fury completely outbox Wilder for 12 rounds is a distinct possibility but I can also see Wilder just blasting him out of there and putting an end to all this "Fury is a natural" talk once and for all.

Either one can be exposed in this one.

The big question to me is: does fury have the pop to properly deter wilder? If so he wins, if not wilder eventually windmills away furys space and gets it done

Yeah good shout. I think Fury can dig a little bit when he sets his feet, but he will have to pick his spots carefully as it gives Wilder his best chance to land something.

I’ll say again though that wilder is an unpredictable and unconventional puncher. He’s not a Nigel Benn style slugger. Wilders success comes from the fact that he feints a lot and is patient and sticks the long left hand in his opponents face, like a measuring stick, blinding them before throwing the hard fast right hand behind it. We don’t know yet how fury will deal with that. What makes this fight so intriguing is that both guys are innovative and unpredictable

oh and when wilder has a man hurt....it’s goodnight baby. Unless the bell saves him, Fury will not be allowed to recover

And yet Fury self-destructed after he beat Wlad. This is not some chill, confident guy at peace. He's more like a big, fat Tapia with one superb win over Wlad and not much else.

If he loses, Joshua won’t be interested in fighting him.
