Actually, I misread the article. They are actually in backup position should something happen to Mir/Carwin. Suffice to say, whoever wins will be right up there.
It's funny that it wasn't all that long ago that the UFC's Heavyweight division was barren. Now we have Lesnar, Nog, Mir, Carwin, Cain and Dos Santos all in the mix to be the top Heavyweight. Plus you have a lot of 2nd and 3rd tier Heavies as well like Kongo, Gonzaga, Nelson, Rothwell, Cro-Cop, Buentello, Duffee, Tuchsherer...hell, even guys like Kimbo, Meathead and Schaub. What was once easily the UFC's worst division is now clearly their most interesting. TFK
Damn...I think I saw Perosh's brain! They stopped it in between rounds because of the cut. Cro Cop wins. Perosh was just way overmatched. Cro-Cop took no damage at all in this fight so I hope they reschedule the Rothwell fight as soon as possible. TFK
From the way Jardine reacted, it looked like he didn't realize he had been KO'd, but he was definetly out for a second or two. Good stoppage. TFK
Lytle subs Foster with a nasty kneebar in one of the prelims. There's your submission of the night. TFK
Rolling kneebar. God damn leglocks, so so dangerous, you better tap fast. Sub of the night for Lytle.
George S. with the UD, 30-27 on all cards, all because he came out to Black Sabbath. Good win for him. TFK
george s. has an annoying jiujitsu style. i would hate to fight him. a fight vs. diaz would be a boring grappling contest.
This should be a fun fight. Wandy is washed up, but still has good power. It doesn't take much to KO Wandy these days, but Bisping doesn't really have power. Wandy should go balls out and I'm not sure if Bisping can handle it. TFK
