They should have cancelled a few more cards when injuries depleted them. The UFC stretched themselves far too thin with the FOX deal while not scaling back the PPV's.

We are getting water-downed events with fewer meaningful fights. They need to shelf a few more events. Let fighters get healthy. And start stacking cards again.

The good thing is that the buy rates are making our point for us with the UFC. UFC 150 was a shit card on paper and it only did 190,000 buys with a live gate of $650K. And 149, which was a terrible card on paper, only did 235K buys with Faber headlining.

While Jones is a hot ticket and does big PPV numbers, I'm not sure Jones-Sonnen backed by a crappy undercard would have been a winning situation for the UFC. For all Dana's postering, the UFC is probably better off without UFC 151.

It's turning to garbage. The cards are getting worse and the price sure as hell isn't going down. It's watered down, and it's a damn shame.

147 did the worst ppv buys in a long time with 140 000 ( thought it was mainly a braziliian event for brazillians)

The cards are slightly watered down compared to a few years back. What initially got me hooked was the 3-4 hours of entertainment. When I sit down for a night of boxing I watch the main event and maybe, maybe the under card.

Yep. Calling UFC 147 garbage is an insult to garbage. It should have been on free TV. That had no business being a PPV. Franklin-Silva II is an average undercard fight and certainly not a PPV main event.
