True that he went all out against Browne, but he did not against Bigfoot, he was very cautious and reluctant

I think he would have beaten Bigfoot if he had paced himself better. He lost when he got too tired to defend himself and fight back.

Bigfoot was also a much better fighter on steroids. He was over 300 pounds and ripped as a super heavyweight. Too bad they don't have a super heavyweight division in the UFC.

Agreed. My god, what a surprising card this was. Joanna looked superb, a completely different level to the other girls Carla has fought. Her punches are very fast and snappy for a woman, and she has surprisingly good TD defense.

I couldn't believe the main event either. I really thought Pettis was on another level to Dos Anjos and pretty much everyone else in the division, and Rafael gave him a 1 sided beating.

It was kind of like a Barrera Vs Hamed moment, where the underdog is just so fucking confident, and basically knows he's going to win.

It was a night of Americans getting battered.

My thoughts exactly. I find MMA so unpredictable compared to boxing.

You don't have Dos Anjos's record and a lengthy title reign. He really fought smart and it was surprising not that he took Pettis down, but that he could do it at will.

Jedz is kind of a dumbass, but she looked superb. No doubt she could beat 25% of the UFC 125 lb men.

It's simple, watching it from a recording or from a download a little later as opposed to live, means I get to fast forward commercials, commentary I don't want to hear, ring walks, national anthems, etc. It's really a bonus when watching the NBA though, as there are lots of moments of non-action to fast forward through.

I actually thought he fought super stupid against Big Foot. Overeem was overconfident and didn't respect him at all. Overeem did like Silva did against Weidman dropping his hands while standing right in front of him and like Silva he got KO'd for it. It was one of the dumbest things I've ever seen.

I actually wasn't surprised Dos Anjos won the way he did. I expected Petis to win, but I knew Dos Anjos had a great chance to pull the upset after what he did to Henderson. Against Henderson he seemed on another level with his strength and power, and I thought that might be enough for him to win if Pettis couldn't hurt him, which he couldn't.

Anybody else surprised how Nelson just ate all those knees? I mean he has a great beard, literally but I've seen Overeem dropping people with those where he didn't even land cleanly...

Pettis was found out by Guida already, this was not a BIG surprise.

That's a bit unfair. It was his first UFC fight and he didn't look on point at all, probably nervous.

If Guida was his previous fight, sure you could say he was exposed, but since then he's stopped Lauzon, Cerrone, Bendo and Melendez, 3 of them in the 1st round, all with ease, making them look like they don't even deserve to share the same ring as him.

Rafael has a lot of power, but what surprised me the most was his speed. Pettis is usually significantly quicker than his foes, but in the first couple of rounds at least, Anjos looked like the quicker man, he was throwing those body kicks and left crosses hard and fast.

I agree and he would have probably beaten Guida instead of Cerrone or Bendo at that point. But if anything it seems you can decision him and that's what dos Anjos did for the third time now. I thought about putting down a little bit at 7.5 odds but didn't because I expected Showtime to come through, also...
