Is it me or is there an excessive amount of cursing tonight?

Overeem's claiming that Stipe tapped to the guillotine choke. I didn't see it. Maybe he should have just congratulated Stipe on the win.

It's worse than it sounds. Joe Rogan said it looked lke a brown belt on top of a white belt. Complete and total domination on the ground. Gall took him down easily, got to side control, took his back, and choked him out like Punk was some average dude who's never been in a fight.

I think we'll see Punk 1 more time in the UFC. They'll try to cash out on what's left of his name appeal like they did with Kimbo. He won't be on PPV but probably a Fox card. He'll still bring in ratings despite have no business in the cage, at least for one more fight.

I had no clue who CM punk was before a few days ago, but why the hell would anyone think the guy would have potential. he's not even a strong atheltic guy (like some of these wreslers are), more of a tall frail-looking crackhead, even when he was in the WWE

Is there anyone in the UFC he can beat? Usually only the best fighters make it to the UFC. Punk should fight another 0-1 guy in some other organization if he wants to keep trying.

    THIS...

If Punk Possessed Even ONE Discipline to Hang His Hat on and BUILD Upon, There'd Be an OUTSIDE Chance of Him Developing Into a RESPECTABLE Fighter Over Time...But he DOESN'T Even Have That...He's NOT Brock Lesnar, or Bobby Lashley, or Even James Toney, Ray Mercer or Kimbo...

Of All the Freakshow MMA Combatants, CM Punk is the LEAST Equipped to Handle Himself in the Octagon...If UFC Wants to REALLY Milk Punk's Freakshow Factor, They Should Match Him Against Cris Cyborg...She'd Give him a GOOD Scrap for Sure, Despite Punk's Size and Gender Advantages...

That's How BAD Dude Is @ Fighting...

They should match him up with the green power ranger dude, who is also an aspiring mmaist.

He probably won't fight in UFC anymore, which leads to...

What the hell is CM Punk doing in the Bellator cage?!?!?

In Dana White's OWN Words, Miocic-Overeem "Saved" the Card...

White had to Be EMBARRASSED in the Investment he Made in CM Punk...FEATURED in a PPV Bout, Afforded a Mini-Series Documenting his "Progress"...Only to Flame Out Like THAT???...

Punk's Been CLASSY, DETERMINED and Even LIKABLE Throughout, but MMA Just ISN'T His Thing...There's Literally THOUSANDs of Superior MMAist's, Busting Their Asses for PEANUTS, for Low Rent MMA Promoters...If UFC Showcases Punk AGAIN, That's a Slap in the Face to the REAL MMAist's Out There...

The thing is that Dana white doesn't know how to make a good freak show. He always put these guys against grapplers, which turned out to be a huge waste of time for eveybody. At least, if he had put him with a striker, we would have seen Punk get laid the fuck out, which would have provided some entertainment value. Instead, we get to see him getting mauled and fondled on the ground. Same thing with James TOney. White should have put him in with a guy like liddel, Wandy (was he in the UFC at the tme ?) or jackson, guys who praobably would have brawled a bit with him. Instead, we saw him against COuture, wich brought this to the ground 3 seconds into the fight

White would not wanted to see Wandy, Rampage, or Liddell KTFO.

I don't feel it was harsh at all. Simply the cold hard truth. A rich privileged guy "buying" himself a tour in the UFC, showing a total lack of respect to real hard working but unknown fighters, who'd basically kill their first born to have a chance to fight on a televised main card, and the fans (though the latter is more on the UFC than him).

You know the UFC contacted Punk, not the other way around right? Punk wanted to start in a smaller organization but was not going to pass up the UFC. Nobody would.

I hope Punk keeps fighting. Anyone would have been taken by that double Leg. It was solid. I thought Punk was defending himself quite nicely on the ground, but he is facing a brown belt.

I also want to point out that many people lose their UFC Debut. Even top legit guys. Something about that initial fight is always troubling. Brock lesner lost his as well.

It's THE WAY He Lost Though...

There was NATHAN about Punk's Body Language that Suggested "FIGHTER"...By Comparison, Lesnar was Whipping Frank Mir's Ass PRIOR to the Leglock....
