Second fight, although I think Cigano is toast if he goes toe-to-toe: Miocic is on a KO roll...why he doesn´t employ his Jiu-Jitsu skills more is beyond me....
Good card, I look forward to the Maia-Masvidal match the most, I think Masvidal surprises everyone again.
Thats MR Demian Maia, if you please. I´ll be seeing him next week, will send my regards....the Jiu-Jitsu Machine.
Really pathetic performance from JDS, and before the fight they were hyping him as a guy who could have made noise in boxing had he decided to follow that path
Yeah that's ridiculous to even consider. I think UFC heavyweights are pretty poor anyway. Anything above 230lb is detrimental to being effective at Mixed Martial Arts...they gas-out way too fast.
JDS looked awful. Something was off last night. His speed, timing, and reflexes were just gone. I don't think he's been the same since the last loss to Cain.
He looked a bit like he was fighting against a guy who was there to survive. Masvidal (who I rate btw) has his arms aloft after each round as if to say "Look! I done got through another round!"
I reck she - eel be too tuff ta leechy suckys round buttress arse coz he won't put out. But Wonderboy would've given him a knee to pinch.
Big foot takes bombs from Hunt for 5 rounds and goes nowhere. USADA comes in. Rematch. One clumsy right hand he's out. JDS takes bombs from Stipe for 5 rounds and goes nowhere. USADA comes in. Rematch and he's out in the first from one right hand. I mean c'mon I love JDS and all but it's clear as day what's up.
JDS was clearly damaged in the 2nd and 3rd fights with Cain. No one comes back the same after those kinds of beat downs. It's sad, because he was the best in the world other than Cain. He had too much heart for his own good. Bigfoot was on testosterone legally at the time, when he was at his best. You can't compare his decline to JDS who never tested positive for anything.
Well the first Stipe fight was after the Cain trilogy and JDS took Stipe's shots just fine for 25 minutes then USADA era starts and both overeem and stipe both take him out with one shot. Coincidence? Nah
yeah, they keep getting busted left right and centre and since the USADA/stricter testing came into effect, they have really fallen off as a mma force.
I really like each of those men, however, I am no longer sure if JDS' chin can keep up anymore. Of route, Dos Santos is usually dangerous, but Stipe has additionally been straight placing people's lighting out as of late. I don't see this one going the space in both manners.
